The Year 2021 is a room.

Megan is a person in The Year 2021. The player is Megan.

Description of The Year 2021 is "The year is 2021. You are looking around an old school building or something like that."

The old locker is a closed openable container in The Year 2021.

The old pencil is in the old locker.

Instead of doing something with the old pencil:
	say "You contemplate the pencil, and wonder how it got to be in this locker...";
	now the player is Chad;
	try looking.
	


	
The Year 1983 is a room.

Chad is a person in The Year 1983.

Description of The Year 1983 is "You are Chad, and the year is 1983. Time to get organized."

Chad carries the new pencil.

The new locker is a closed openable container in The Year 1983.

After inserting the new pencil into the new locker:
	say "You place the pencil in the locker. It'll be safe there for the next thirty-eight years.[paragraph break]Yes, that must be what happened.";
	now the player is Megan;
	try looking.
