The Dining room is a room.  “Samson is at the dining table having dinner with his parents. The door to your left leads to the bathroom, and the door to your right leads you outside.[paragraph break] The living room is located east of the dining room”

A knife is in the Dining room. The description of the knife is “The knife was forged by the ancient Romans in the year 500 BC.”

When play begins, say “Earth has been at peace with other worlds for more than 10,000 years. Suddenly armed flying machines approach earth’s  crust.”

Instead of going East in Living room when player carries the knife: say “You brought the wrong tool to the rodeo.”; end the story.
