When play begins:
say "[italic type] You and your friends, Joan and Troy, are riding down a long, lonely road at night. Trees line both sides of the road, and every once and a while, you can see the moon through the trees. Troy is driving with you in the passenger seat. Joan is probably sleeping, stretched out in the back seat. You feel tat you are about to nod off when Yroy curses and the car swings to the right. A deer stood proudly in the center of the road. The car hits a tree lengthwise and all goes black. "

Troy's car is a room. "[if the Troy's car is unvisited] You awaken to a thundering headache. The carlights are on still, pointing towards the road. You groan and turn to Troy... then, scared out of your headache, Joan. They are not in the car with you! Why would they... its hard to think right now. You check yourself for broken bones, then deciding you arent really hurt, you take off the seatbelt. It just might have saved your life... think of that. To look at objects, type examine (name of object). To open things, like troys car compartment, type open troys car compartment. To read notes, still type examine. To take things, type take (object)."

say " It looks like it might open. I sure hope so. I could use a flashlight"

say "Here are some friendly reminders on how to play the game. TO MOVE: You will sometimes have to look for places you can move to, othertimes I, the designer of this game, will tell you. Remember, type west, north, etc... to move from room to room.
TO READ/ EXAMINE: Just type examine then the thing you want to examine. Sometimes you might be reading a note, or you might be examining a pile of trash, so to speak. Either way, examing things can provide better insights to the game and how to progress. Also, as you move through the game play, notes may change. Read your notes often, for they may change and provide clues to what to do next. Not reading them will possibly result in failure. TO CHECK INVENTORY: just type inventory and the things you have with you should pop up on screen. TO UNLOCK THINGS: You must have some form of key. You should type it as unlock ( Name of container/ door ) with (Name of key). As you progress through the game, there will be more added here."

say " How do you like this so far? I am still only a newbie at inform 7, however I want to make this first game of mine to be very fun and detailed. This is just a 'demo' of the story I plan to be making. It shall one day be close to completely done with this."

"[if house 1001 front porch is unvisited] You come onto the porch of house 1001 and start knocking on the door. No one answers, so you try and ring the doorknob, but it dont work. You knock one more time then give  up. You might as well head back east.[end if] [if house 1001 front porch is visited] Maybe your friends cell phone works? You try it out but all you get is static on the other end. Go back east... no one is in here that is willing to help you."
