"Experiment" by adiosToreador When play begins: say "[italic type]You're ready for school to be over, at this point. You idly tap your fingers as you look around.[roman type][paragraph break]". Class 203 is a room. "You're in the back right corner of the classroom, far away from any other students. You're extremely bored, just waiting for the bell to ring. It's painstakingly quiet in the small room, considering there are only 8 students enrolled in this particular period. You're terribly hungry, and you hear your stomach growl." A backpack is here. It is an openable container. The description is "In front of you is your backpack, which is unbearably heavy due to the sheer amount of books inside, not to mention the random trash and occasional crumb. You can barely carry it." The backpack is fixed in place. A giant history book is inside the backpack. The description is "It's like 80 pounds, Jesus!" After taking the giant history book, say "Your arms hurt already." now the backpack is portable. A pencil is here. It is edible. The description is "God, even that looks delicious at this point..." After taking the pencil: say "Your stomach growls." After dropping the pencil: say "You cast away the pencil immediately, having resisted the temptation of even a small bite." Instead of eating the pencil: say "You spit the bit of wood you'd gotten in your mouth almost immediately. On second thought, definitely not delicious." A candy bar is here. It is edible.
