When play begins:
     say "Today is the big day.";
     say "The last item for your collection should have arrived.  Time to go check the mail ...";
     move the player to the chair, without printing a room description.

	The chair is an enterable supporter.

The rack is in the the front room. 

A jacket is wearable.  Jacket is on the rack.
	Description of jacket is "A warm cozy looking jacket with a hood and a pocket."
	Before taking the jacket, say "Hint: Be sure to look in the pockets for dog treats and the mailbox key.".
	Before taking the jacket, increment the score.

Pocket is part of Jacket.
	Understand "pockets" as pocket.
	A yellow key is in the pocket.
	Crumbs are in the pocket.
	Crumbs are edible.
	After eating crumbs:
		say "You slowly pick each crumb out one at a time.  You try to savour each bit by letting them dissolve in your mouth.  But this takes quite a while as the crumbs seem to be designed for much sharper teeth".

		say "Crunchy but lacking flavour.  You probably should have saved it for the stray dog at the mailbox."; 
		decrement the score.

If front door is open, say "shut the door".]

Before entering mailboxes:
If player wearing jacket,  
	say "A cold wind picks up, like an ominus warning of danger.  Good thing you are wearing your jacket.";
	otherwise say "A cold wind picks up, like an ominus warning of danger.  Too bad you aren't wearing your jacket.".

Bosco is an animal.  
	Bosco is in the Mailboxes.
	Understand "bosco", "dog", "mutt" as Bosco.
	Description of Bosco is "A ravenous stray dog! - He looks hungary ... thus ravenous."

Instead of giving treat to Bosco:
	say "The dog gobbles up the treat and walks away.";
	remove treat from play;
	increment the score;
	remove Bosco from play.

Dan is a man.
	Dan is in the Mailboxes.


Mailbox is a closed lockable locked container in the Mailboxes.  

The mail is inside the mailbox.
	Yellow Key unlocks the Mailbox.
	Before taking the mail, increment the score.
		Before taking the mail:
		If Bosco is in the mailboxes,
		say "Your turn your back momentarilly to peer inside the mailbox.  Indeed the last item of your collection appears to be there (lodged near the back). [line break][line break]You reach in to retrieve the item as Bosco (the ravenous i.e. 'hungry' dog) reaches into you with his sharp teeth.  Surely he can smell the crumbs in your pocket ... at least they smell like dog treats ... [line break] the kind you give every day.  --- Except today that is.";
		end the game in death.
		
	After taking the mail:
		say "You got the mail!";
		end the game in victory.
