The House is the room. "You walk in to the house. the shelves are filled with colorful tomes and the lingering scent of pulp and puts you at ease. This library is circular with a desk placed on the south wall. You can see the door on the west wall, but these are the only disruptions to the bookshelves in and around the room. There is so much, you don't know where to start. Suddenly, you are greeted by a 
loud Halllooo. A butler has appeared behind you. Aware of the hush surrounding  the space, you move toward the desk to speak with the librarian."

The desk is the thing. The desk is scenery. The desk is in the library.

after examining the desk: say " a sturdy, although obviously well used
desk, resides along the south wall. Upon it is a computer, monitor, stapler, and pencil holder. Once chair faces the computer."


instead of going north in the room: say "A bookshelf blocks this path.";
instead of going east in the room: say "A small child is playing on the floor and you cannot move around them."
