"Cannibals" by Nathan and Billy. The Cage is a room. "The cage is handmade from vine and bamboo. You can see tribesmen preparing a fire - you think they are cannibals! There is a spear just out of reach." The small flick knife is in the cage. The bars are in the cage. "These bamboo bars stand between you and freedom." The bars are fixed in place. The Camp is a room. "A collection of mud and straw huts deep in the jungle. There is an open hut close by, it is just north. The remains of a camp fire smoulder. To the west is a rough path." Instead of going anywhere when the player is in the cage: say "The bamboo bars stand in your way." Instead of cutting the bars: say "You slash through the bamboo." ; Move the player to the camp. The spear is in the camp. "The spear has a stone point, it is likely a hunting spear. It could be useful." Mud Hut is north of Camp. "This hut is nothing special. You can see some chicken." Some meat is in the mud hut. It is edible. Understand "chicken" or "food" as the meat. The meat can be raw or cooked. The meat is raw. The fire is in the camp. Instead of inserting the meat into the fire: say "You carefully cook the meat on all sides."; now the meat is cooked. The description of the meat is "[if the meat is raw]Some raw chicken[otherwise]Some roast chicken[end if]" Instead of eating the meat when the meat is raw: say "Ugh - raw chicken! I'd rather go hungry." After eating the meat when the meat is cooked: say "Delicious - that hit the spot." The Undergrowth is west of the camp. "You run through the thick undergrowth, the thorns and nettles cutting and stinging you as you go. There is a opening with fresh water to the north." The Well is north of the undergrowth. "It is nice and warm but you can hear running feet." The water is in the well. It is not portable. Instead of drinking the water: say "You drink deeply from the well."
