Section 2 -- Things The doormat is in Outside Front Door. The description of the doormat is "An ordinary doormat." Understand "mat" as the doormat. The plaster chicken is in the South Yard. It is a closed openable container. The note is a thing. The description of the note is "The note reads, 'The chicken hides the spare.'" The key is in the plaster chicken. The oak door is in Outside Front Door. [Section 3 -- Rules When play begins say "You've made it to your home, as usual, but it seems that you have forgotten your key."]
