As you look around you see what looks to be a dead rat in one of the corners." Iron bars are a thing. the description of Iron bars is "you peer through the bars and see a hallway extending to the east and west, with prison cells lining the far wall." In one another corner of the room you see a small cabinet; there is also a small cell at the far east side where the screaming is coming from." the torturer's table is a supporter. the description of the torturer's table is "A large metal table with copious amounts sharp tools and dried blood on it." the torturer's table is in the torturer's chamber. the torturer's table is scenery. foot of stairwell is a room. "You peer around the corner of a wall and see a long dark narrow stairway leading up to you presume the surface." foot of stairwell is west of narrow hallway and below extending stairway. extending stairway is a room. prisoners cell is a east of the torturer's chamber. the description of prisoners cell is "a bloodied young man raises his head and looks at you, you feel as if you know him and he knows you." the prisoner is a person. the description of the prisoner is "he is locked to the wall with a large set of handcuffs, there is a keyhole to unlock them." the prisoner is in the prisoners cell. the Iron key unlocks the handcuffs. the handcuffs are a transparent container. the Iron key is on the torturer's table. the cabinet is a container. the cabinet is scenery. in the cabinet is a healing potion. the healing potion is a thing. the healing potion is edible. Part 2 - Mechanics Instead of going east to torturer's chamber from narrow hallway the first time: if the torturer's chamber is unvisited: say "You hear screaming coming from this direction, are you sure you want to continue this way."; otherwise: continue the action. Instead of going up to extending stairway from foot of stairwell: if the prisoner is unlocked: say "You feel as if you came here for someone or something that you don't have yet."; Otherwise: continue the action.
