"Alice in Twistedland" By Abby When play begins: Say "You were bored one afternoon and decided to go on a walk. You walked along the ravine until you ended up in a forest. You followed a path but it soon became night time. You can't see anything, it's pitch black, and you don't know where you came from, except... You see a dim glow. As it seems there's no other options, you follow the glow. After maybe a few hours of walking you end up to a gold tree with a golden door. The light seems to be coming from behind the door. You try opening the door but it won't budge. Maybe this was all a waste of time... You we're about to leave, and give up when you notice a carved wooden box lying on the ground." The Forest is a room. "You are in the forest. This forest seems a little bit different though. There seems there something, maybe even a bit... Magical about it. You can see a wooden box with detailed carvings on the ground in front of you. You wonder what's it, and if it will help you. There is a golden door. This is all so confusing, why did this happen to you? It started off as a leisurely stroll. Now you are lost in the forest with gold trees... How odd is that? Not the Sunday afternoon you originally planned." The box is closed, fixed in place, openable container in the forest. It is scenery. The description of the box is "A beautiful box with incredibly detailed carvings into it. It looks sort of old, maybe even a little rusted. But the carvings make it absolutely gorgeous." The golden door is a closed, locked door. It is scenery. The golden door is north of the forest and south from the checkered room. The description of the gold door is "A solid gold door, it looks like something from a movie. Between the cracks of the door, you can see small bits of light shining through. You can vaguely see yourself in the reflection. Your blue and white lace dress has mud stains on it and has a few rips. You know your parents are going to kill you, for not only being out so lately but for the dress too. Is it worth it? You don't even know where this door is going to lead you. You mean, for all you know somebody is going to kidnap you. Should you really risk it? " Inside the box is a silver key. It unlocks the golden door. The silver key unlocks the golden door. The Checkered room is a room. "You walk into a black and white checkered room. It's a large room with a long table. On the table there is a basket of pink mushrooms which has a sign above which says 'Eat me' There's another basket of mushrooms, however this one is red. It has no such sign on it. There's a red door to the East." The table is in the checkered room. On the table is a basket which contains red mushrooms. On the table is a basket which contains pink poisonous mushrooms. On the table is a sign. It is scenery. The description of the sign is "Eat me." The pink mushrooms are edible. After eating the pink mushrooms: say "You faint after eating the pink mushrooms due to poisonous chemicals."; end the game in death. The red mushrooms are edible. After eating the red mushrooms: say "The mushrooms tasted a little salty but not too bad. You see the red door open leading to a world of mysteries."; award 50 points. The red door is a openable, closed door. The red door is north of the Checkered room and south of the Entrance to twistedland. The Entrance to Twistedland is a room. "Twistedland-A magical world where anything can happen! You walk down the flight of stairs in front of you and end up on a blue path. There's three ways you could go. To the East is a castle. It's black and red and black smoke surrounds it. To the north is a tea party. The long table looks like it could fit enough people to throw the party of your dreams! To the west is a forest. You can hear crows echoing in the background." The Magic forest is west of the Enterance of Twistedland. The Magic forest is a room. "The forest is filled with dark and erie trees. Vines, leaves and branches entour you and make it hard to breath, let alone walk. The sky is grey and is crowded with clouds. And you think it might start raining." The Castle is east of the Entrance of Twistedland. The Castle is a room. "The castle is Black and red. It doesn't look like something you'd want to go into. You see a short girl with a huge head and a puffy black and red dress." The red queen is a person in the castle. Every turn when the player can see the Red queen: say "The red queen pastes black and forth. Her Black and red dress swishes back and forth. Her eyes glow with evil. She doesn't look like someone you want to associate with." The tea party is north of the entrance to twistedland. The Tea Party is a room. "Welcome to the tea party. You can see the Mad-Hatter sitting down at the end of the table. You can also see all the essentials for the perfect tea party! Tea cups, saucers, sugar, milk, tea pot, beautiful arrangements of flowers, a white table cloth and white napkins with flowers on the border. The Mad-Hatter looks flustered, almost paranoid about something. He slams his hat on the table and says something in a language you don't understand. There's also a rabbit hopping around, you beleive his name is the white rabbit. To the West you see a Garden." The Mad-Hatter is a person in the tea party. Every turn when the player can see the Mad-Hatter: say "The Mad Hatter is playing with his hat nervously. He keeps glancing around and checking his shoulder." The white rabbit is a person in the tea party. Every turn when the player can see the Rabbit: say "The rabbit hops around with a watch in his hand. He keeps checking to the time and pointing at it." The tea party table is in the tea party. On the tea party table is a hat. The hat is wearable. The Garden is west of the Tea party. The Garden is a room. "It's been an amazing day and all, but it's about time to go home. You see a purple door. Fog is leaking from it and it's glowing brightly." The Purple door is a closed door. It is scenery. The Purple door is north of the Garden and south of the Closet. The description of the Purple door is "A beautiful combination of lights, fog and music come from the other side of the door. The actually door itself is beautiful as well. It's a purple velvet fabric with black zentangles covering the whole surface area of the door. You wish your door at home was like that. Maybe you'd paint it like that when you got home. Speaking of home, it's about time you get going." The closet is a room. "You slowly pass through the purple door. Looking back and trying to remember all the beautiful things you saw. You are gonna miss that place. What was it called again? Oh ya... Twistedland. I'll miss you twisted land. Your dress has even more mud stains and rips then the beginning, but it was well worth it. You could probably find a way to wash it without your parents seeing." After going through the purple door: say "You have successfully made it through twisted land."; end the game in victory.
