When play begins: say "You wake up on the floor of a grand old house, not knowing how you got here." The Living Room is a room. "This room is warm and inviting, and filled with old furniture and a lit fireplace. There is a book on the ground." The Kitchen is a room. "The Kitchen is empty, but there is hot food on the table and the fridge door is open. It looks like someone was just here." The Kitchen is south of the Living Room. The fridge is in the Kitchen. The Hidden Room is a room. "Dark and musty. Full of cobwebs. There's dust on the floor, but fresh footprints." The Hidden Room is east of the Living Room. The Living Room contains a secret door that leads to the Hidden Room. A Book is a thing. The description of the book is "The book is very peculiar, and seems to be written in a language you don't recognize."
