"Exploring the Chateau" by Brianna H.

Hearthome Chateau Entrance is a room. "You stand in the entrance to the Hearthome Chateau. Despite hearing rumors about the abandoned manor, you find that it is quite beautiful and well-kept, as if there is still someone living here. You see a room to the east, a room to the west and a room to the north. There is a lantern sitting on a brown desk."

The lantern is in the Hearthome Chateau Entrance. 

After taking the lantern, say "You hear a menaching laugh briefly."

The wood door is east of the Hearthome Chateau Entrance and west of the Dining Room. The wood door is a door. The wood door is closed and openable.

The large door is west of the Hearthome Chateau Entrance and east of the Bedroom. The large door is a door. The large door is closed. The large door is locked and lockable. The rusty key unlocks the large door.

The small door is north of Hearthome Chateau Entrance and south of the Ballroom. The small door is a door. The small door is closed. The small door is locked and lockable. The silver key unlocks the small door.

The description of the Dining Room is "You enter the extravagant dining room of the manor. It has five chairs around a rectangular table.  There is a rusty key on the table."

The rusty key is in the Dining Room. 

The description of the Bedroom is "A homely and lonely room with a large bed, a card table and a silver key. You can hear faint weeping in the background."

The silver key is in the Bedroom.

After taking the silver key, say "The soft sobbing has stopped."

The description of the Ballroom is "You walk into the dusty, deserted ballroom and are hit with the pungent odor of rotting meat and mothballs. Dark stains line the floor and the windows are bust open. In the middle of the room is a round, black orb that is floating in mid-air."

The orb is in the Ballroom.

After touching the orb, say "You feel a cold hand grip your shoulder. Out of the corner of your eye you can see that the hand is bleached white. The last thing you hear before blacking out is 'You are not welcome....'"
