"You are a part of an up and coming Egyptian Explorers group that has recently earned a grant from the government to reveal the secrets of King Hazoret's Tomb! However, after WEEKS of excavation, your group has found NOTHING! Tonight will be your final chance to uncover the secrets of the tomb, and you are determined not to return home empty handed. You decide to venture towards the pyramid, but the blinding sands make it impossible to figure out which way is which!" The Desert is east, south and west of the Base Camp. [Key Room] The Key Room is a room. The Mirror Key is an object. The Mirror Key is in the Key Room. The Desert is a room. "Rolling waves of sand encompass you. The deserts charm entrances your mind, drawing you closer to the death you so desperately search for." The Seemingly Endless Desert is east, south and west of the Desert. Maps, papers and discarded artifacts litter the floor, and it reminds you of time when the halls of the tomb were bustling with activity. Large desks line each corner of the room, while wooden cabinets stand , stripped naked of their once filled shelves. Now only discarded books and lose paper inhabit the halls of the abandoned. [Mirror Room] The Mirror Room is west of the Tomb Entrance. "The squarish room is lined with hieroglyphics and drawings, each painted with extraordinary detail and intricacy. On the north wall, is a rope pulled taut, snaking its way from one end of the wall to the other. All the letters, words and pictures on the wall seem to be pointing towards the 3, perfectly see-through magnifying mirrors located in the middle of the room. You quickly realize the switch you had just flipped had opened a small cavity in the wall allowing a single beam of light to seep into the room. The ray is conveniently lined up with the mirrors which are all facing the west wall. You try to turn the mirrors but they won't budge. Suddenly, you catch a glimpse of 3 levers on the wall, with each controlling which way the one of the three mirrors face! Could this be a puzzle leading to the Pharaoh's chamber?" They warn that choosing any other door would lead to death. You stare at each door and realize that above each archway is a set of symbols. Above the south door there is a hand followed by a reed followed by a vulture followed by another reed. Above the north door there is a hand followed by a reed followed by a vulture followed by a red semicircle followed by a rope. Above the east door there is a lion followed by a reed, followed by a snake with horns which is then followed by another reed. You remember that the symbol that looks like a hand is often used in hieroglyphs to represent the letter D but you cannot remember much else." The Arrow Room is a room. The Arrow room is south of the Pillar Room. "The Room is awfully dark, but you seem to see a glimmer in the middle of the room. You look around and see multiple holes within the walls..." The Arrow Shaped Key is an object. The Arrow Shaped Key is in the Arrow Room. The description is "The Key's sharp end glimmers in the torches low light. It seems to be the key that will help unlock the Pharaoh's tomb!" After taking The Arrow Shaped Key: say "You pick up the key! Suddenly you hear a hissing noise and arrows fly out of the wall. You hit the floor but an arrow pierces your neck. As blood pours out of your mouth, you lose the feeling of your lower body until the light consumes you."; end the game in death. The Fire Room is a room. The Fire Room is north of the Pillar Room. "The Room seems unusually damp... why does the ground sink beneath your feet! But as you realize the rooms unusual nature, you catch a glimpse of a flame-shaped key on the ground." The Flame Key is an object. The Flame Key is in the Fire Room. The description is "The flame-like emblem on the top of the key seems to be the work of a great craftsman. Its orangey colour sparks a light in your heart as you realize this is the key that will lead you to the secrets of the Pharaoh's Tomb!" After taking The Flame Key: say "As you reach down to pick up the key, you hear oil spiling form the ceiling. You realize you must have triggered a trap, as you frantically rush towards the exit. However, suddenly a single ember touches the oil setting both you and the room ablaze."; end the game in death. The Lion Room is a room. The Lion Room is east of The Pillar Room. "The room's foul odour sends you stumbling back. You peer around in darkness as you approach the middle of the room. Suddenly something cracks under your foot. Nothing happens. You tell yourself it was nothing until a small glimmer to the side of the room catches your attention." The Lion Key is an object. The Lion Key is in The Lion Room. The description is "An oddly shaped key, though the majestic beast embroidered on the top of the key makes you think it must be something worth keeping." [statue room: NPC Bird Statue Man guards the Tomb.... The Statue Room is east of The Archaeologists Camp. "The Room is brightly lit. The walls are lined with gold and silver jewelry that shimmer in the flame's presence." While you desperately want to approach it, her intimidating presence makes it hard for you to move forward." A book is an object on the stand. The description is "The book is covered in dust. Its tattered leather cover barely covers the torn pages of the book. As you flip through the pages, you realize the book is blank, with each page staring blankly back at your stunned face. You wonder if you should ask Oketra about the book. " After entering The Statue Room: say "A strange voice bellows from the room 'WHO DARES STEP INTO MY DOMAIN.'"; continue the action. Oketra The Guardian is a woman in The Statue Room. The description is "The Guardian stands waiting eternally for a command. She is beautifully outfitted with a gold set of armor, its sleek design accentuates her muscular build. The statue stands 10 feet tall, her glare seemingly transfixed on the entrance of her domain. She wears a gilded cat-like mask on her face, and in her hand, she holds a 6-foot sword, corroded by the tests of time." On the east, is a door with 3 symbols drawn above it, consisting of a mountain, a waterfall and a picture of rocks crumbling. On the north, is another door with 3 different symbols, these ones being a piece of gold, a piece of silver and a piece of bronze. On the west,is the last and final door, similar to the last two, 3 symbols are drawn above this door. These drawings consisting of a piece of wood, a piece of flint and a round stone." Bontu The Glorified is a man in The Riddle Room. The Description is "As you enter the room, the warrior's eyes flicker open. His blood red pupils catch you walking towards the middle of the room, transfixed on every step you take. Suddenly he shifts, unsheathing his sword from his side. You continue to approach him, but you are stopped by a single swift move of his arm, resulting in the sword standing an inch from your chest. You step backward, stunned by his sheer size and speed." Instead of taking the sword: say "Bontu Steps forward as you unsheath the sword, bowing down. 'You must carve your destiny with that sword... To reach Hazoret's Tomb you must answer my riddle... The answer to the riddle is behind one of these 3 doors... Use Hazoret's Sword to break down one of the doors, if you are right, you shall be rewarded with the secrets of Hazoret's Tomb... If you are wrong you shall face the price of failure... DEATH. "; continue the action. A Sword is an object on the Metal Stand. The description is "Despite the tomb's age, the sword seems to be untouched by the tests of time. The sword's ember-color burns a vaguely familiar object into your mind." The Coffin is a supporter in The Sarcophagus Room. The Description is "The room is shrouded in shadow. The Sarcophagus shimmers in the fading twilight of the room! The gold lining its side gleams, making your mouth salivate with the thought of a life of riches and fame. On the side of the Sarcophagus, there is a sentence written in an ink-black paint stating: ~ 'The Mortal Who Dares to Wear Hazoret's Crown will Be The One to Know All of The King Pharaoh's Secrets!~'" The Crown is an object on the coffin in the Sarcophagus Room. The Crown is wearable. The description is "The Crown seems to be crafted out of solid gold, but something about its weight and size makes you think that its made of much more than gold!!!!" After wearing the crown: say "When you place the crown on your head you close your eyes. You expect knowledge you rush into your brain but all you feel are 6 sharp pins driving straight into your head. You collapse from the pain. Convulsing on the floor, blood pools beneath your head as you realize that your life was not worth the secrets of Hazoret's tomb."; end the game in death. [Wrong Answer Room 2 ] The Throne Room is a room. The Throne Room is a north of the Riddle Room. "The room is lit by a strange source of light emitted from small gem-like rocks scattered on the ground. You follow the light and are led to a large 10-foot throne, speckled in rubies, gems, and diamonds. But you are not here for the money, you are here for the secrets of The King Pharaoh Hazoret! Inscribed on the steps leading up the throne are instructions: ''To Be A Pharaoh you must wear the Ring of a Pharaoh ." Instead of going south: if the player is in the Throne Room: say "You can't go back this is your final choice."; otherwise: continue the action. The Hazoret's Throne is a supporter. The Hazoret's Throne is in the Throne Room. The description is "A 10-foot throne, speckled in rubies, gems, and diamonds. But you are not here for the money, you are here for the secrets of The King Pharaoh Hazoret! Inscribed on the steps leading up the throne are instructions: 'To Be A Pharaoh you must wear the Ring of a Pharaoh .'" The Pharaoh's Ring is an object. The Pharaoh's Ring is wearable. The Pharaoh's ring is on The Hazoret's Throne. The description is "The Ring gleams in the strange light, its power makes you surge with excitement."
