"Depressed" by Henry M. When play begins, say "Your wife was killed in a failed puppy rescue mission. Your children were stupid and drove drunk (Thus killing them). Your dog was hit by a tricycling three year old. Your only companion now is your pet cat. He will be the only witness to your suicide. (hint: try and examine everything.. There is a bed, a closet, a drawer, and an entertainment center. To the east is another room.. What seems to be a kitchen." A bed is here. The bed is a thing. The bed is fixed in place. The description of the bed is "Lots of good stuff underneath the bed (down). My place of sleeping. Much sleeping was done here over the course of sixteen years. It is a good spot for sleeping. Just looking at it makes you want to do more sleeping. But no, you must continue searching for a way of creative killing of thyself." A closet is here. The description of the closet is "A wonderful closet. It has done a fine job holding clothes for me. It also keeps my grandparents knife locked up. Grandpa never liked me touching his stuff.." It is a container. The closet is closed. The closet is openable. The closet is fixed in place. A knife is inside the closet. The description of the knife is "An old knife. Grandpa told me never to touch it, but I feel rather powerful holding it." After taking the knife: say "Ah.. Perfect choice, my friend! All though a little messy, it will do. Besides, I was hoping for some extreme pain. Now should I cut long ways or across the wrists..."; end the game in death. A Drawer is here. It is a container. A photo is inside the Drawer. The description of the photo is "It's a little blurry.." After taking the photo: say "It's us.. All of us. My whole family.. What am I doing? God, I forgot that Jesus died for our sinuses.. I'm going to get through the sinus congestion of mine, and THEN kill myself... yah, thats a good plan."; end the game in victory. The drawer is closed. The drawer is locked. the painting unlocks the drawer. The description of the drawer is "An old wooden cabinet.. I don't really want to think about it.." A entertainment center is here. The description of the entertainment center is "A wooden container of sorts for my television set." It is a container. The entertainment center is closed. The entertainment center is openable. The entertainment center is fixed in place. A tv remote is inside the entertainment center. The description of the tv remote is "An ordinary remote, except for your fingertips have grazed it numerous times. You won't find any other tv remote with as many finger grazings as this one." After taking the tv remote: say "You pick up the remote, and click on the television. You plop down on your bed in front of the screen. For 72 straight hours, you watch the FOOD network, and your brain slowly turns to mush. By the end of your marathon, you are completly brain dead, and fall over, passed out. Eventually, you die."; end the game in death. Underneath the Bed is down of the Bedroom. "The lower portion of my place of sleeping. Many knick knacky little items reside down in here. From here I can see a cardboard box, some junk, and a bottle of soap.." A bottle of soap is here. It is a thing. The description of the bottle of soap is "'Tommie's Soap. Wonderful stuff.. Got the messiness out of the house. I wonder why we have some stashed up here?... Thought it was funny though, that the main ingredient is acid." After taking the bottle of soap: say "You raise the bottle of soap to your mouth. The clear liquid trickles down your throat. You shiver, as for it tastes rather sour. Either way, not bad. Still, in a matter of minutes your insides are ripped apart by the acid inside the soap... You die."; end the game in death. A cardboard box is here. It is a container. The cardboard box is closed. The cardboard box is openable. The cardboard box is fixed in place. A dead pet snake is inside the cardboard box. The description of the dead pet snake is "The heck is this thing doing in here?" The description of the cardboard box is "An old box wrapped up in silver duct tape. Wonder what is in here.." After taking the dead pet snake: say "You grab the snakes head, and shove it's fangs into your skin. Your last dying thoughts as the venom slowly spreads through your body is amazement at how well you daughter was at keeping secrets from her parents. Especially a pet snake.."; end the game in death. The Kitchen is east of the Bedroom. "The place of breakfast, brunch, lunch, linner, dinner, and so on. Many fights were held here, and many laughs. A table lays in the middle, and a single chair. In the back is an oven, a counter, and a fridge. To the north, there is another room. It is the basement." A table is here. It is a thing. It is fixed in place. The description of the table is "A very bad table. It wobbled from day one, and was the cause of many spills." A chair is here. It is a thing. It is fixed in place. The description of the chair is "My chair. There is only one left because I am the last person of this household still living.. It only brings me more despair to gaze upon it." A fridge is here. It is a container. The fridge is closed. The fridge is openable. It is fixed in place. An ice cube is inside the fridge. The description of the fridge is "A very cold place. Possibly the coldest place in the house! But it sure was good at keeping food nice and yummy." The description of the ice cube is "These little things are really quite chilly. Cool to the skin, nice for a bruise." After taking the ice cube: say "You take each individual ice cube and tape it to your skin. Your body slowly begins to die from cold.. You scream in pain, as you acheive the positivly most painful death in text-based video game history!" ;end the game in death. An oven is here. It is enterable. After entering the oven: say "You crawl inside the oven. Seeing as you had previously turned up the heat to its full power, It is already a little steamy inside.. You rest your head against the side, and you smell the scent of burnng hair, then burning skin.. You scream in agony as you are baked alive inside your own oven!";end the game in death. It is a container. The oven is open. The oven is openable. It is fixed in place. The description of the oven is "A large oven.. Thanksgiving Dinner was usually held at our house, as for the oven could handle quite a lot of food... It was large enough even I could fit into it!" A counter is here. It is a supporter. There is a toaster on the counter. The description of the toaster is "A silver, four slotted toaster.. Many dellicous pop tarts were created in the depths of this machine." The description of the counter is "A large counter, quite sturdy. It held upon it many large, heavy items." After taking toaster: say "You pick up the toaster, and calmly unplug it. You walk over to the sink and switch on the water... As it slowly fills the basin, you ready your body for the electrical power that is about to course through you, and plug the toaster into the nearest outlet to the sink.. As the water fills to the top, you dunk your head under, and drop the toaster in with you. Death comes quickly."; end the game in death. A sink is here. It is a device. It is switched off. It is fixed in place. The description of the sink is "A suprisingly small sink. From afar, it looks quite large, but up close it is a bit teensey." The Basement is north of the Kitchen. "A cement staircase leads down to my basement.. Many old discarded, empty boxes lay around. My oldest son had his bedroom down here. His bed sits in the back. I can see a desk near my sons bed, a furnace, and an old painting. My wife had much enjoyed drawing with various paints.. blue was her favorite color.." A staircase is here. It is scenery. The description of the staircase is "An old cement thing.. Many bumps and scratches from running and walking down it numerous times." Discarded Boxes are here. It is scenery. The description of the Discarded Boxes is "Lots of them are just laying around, almost all of them ripped open unceremoniously.. I'm pretty sure these were all the boxes birthday and christmas presents came in." A furnace is here. It is a device. The furnace is fixed in place. The description of the furnace is "[if switched off]An old, rusty metal, heat creator. It broke down many times, but my wife would never let me get a new one..[otherwise]It's soft purr kind of lulls you into a daydream... But it does help you think.. I believe there might be something down here that can help me in my quest to death. Or.. not? This is strange." A desk is here. It is a supporter. It is fixed in place. A lava lamp is on the desk. The description of the desk is "It's basically brand new.. we got it for him just a couple months before the accident, so no one ever touched it. I don't know what he would have used it for anyways.." The description of the lava lamp is "The little lava lamp. I loved these things when I was little, so I bought him one. He, of course, hated it. Ah well... but it is kind of mesmerizing." After taking the lava lamp: say "You pick up the lamp, and smash it over your head. Your vision immediatly blurs, and swirls as though you are under the influence of alchohol.. You fall to the ground, ad bang your chin on the desk on the way down.. You slowly fall out of conscience as the liquid inside the lava lamp pools around you.."; end the game in death. A painting is here. It is a thing. The description of the painting is "It really is quite beautiful.. she was such an amazing painter. This one depicts a young man sailing into the sunset." After taking the painting: say "You pick up the painting, and are about to smash your neck with it, when you notice something. A writing says 'The painting holds the key... John won't want to know I kept it.' It's her handwriting. (When you reach the locked item, use the painting to unlock it)."
