Delicate wallpaper that was once the highlight of the mansion, now hung off the wall.â€. The Entrance is south of the Foyer. The Foyer is a room. The description of the foyer is “There is a spacious Foyer that you can tell was once beautiful. â€. The West Hallway Start is a room. The description of west hallway start is “A long hallway stretches before you. Without any windows the hall is chillingly darkâ€. The West Hallway is west of the Foyer. The East Hallway Start is a room. The description of the East hallway start is “A disturbingly narrow hallway stretches before you. The hallway is surprisingly cold and is as dark as the demon himselfâ€. The East Hallway is east of the Foyer. The West Hallway Middle is a room. The description of the west hallway middle is “Another seemingly never ending hallway presents itself in front of you. This hallway is dimly lit and filled with creepy picture of old Victorian Queens. The picture of the Queens seems to stare you down as you start walking. You notice the eyes of the pictures seems to be scratched out by some creature or madman. Suddenly you think you hear something and your heart jumps out of your body. As you realize the sounds are coming from your head, you start to wonder if you will make it out of this mansion with your sanity.†The West Hallway Middle is north of the West Hallway Start. The West Hallway End is a room. The description of the west hallway end is “As you close the end of the hallway, you are surprised with this hallway end that seems to small for comfort. You start to notice a strange churning in your stomach as you picture the ends of the room close in on you. As you tremble with fear you wonder what is in store for you as you continue through this atrocity of a mansionâ€. The West Hallway End is north of the West Hallway Middle. The East Hallway Middle is a room. The description of east hallway middle is “a regular grey hallway that seems to never end and is filled with large stereos all over the walls. As you walk through the hallway you swear you hear the stereos playing The murder of the Lawson family. You shiver in fear and proceed onwardsâ€.The East Hallway Middle is north of the East Hallway Start. The East Hallway End is a room. The description of the east hallway end is “A bright room with the words don't worry written all over in blood.â€. The East Hallway End is north of the East Hallway Middle. The Back Hallway is a room. The description of the back hallway is “You find it extremely difficult and wait for your eyes to adjust to the darkness. The entrance seems so long ago and you wonder how much further the house could possible be. It feels even bigger now that you’re inside itâ€. The Back Hallway is east of the West Hallway End. The Description of the Bathroom Door is “A regular white door with a peculiar symmetrical design of the devil all over it. As you enter the washroom, you wonder what kind of sick freak designed a place like thisâ€. The Bathroom key is an object. The description of the Bathroom key is “A small golden key with small designs all over the end of the key. The key seems to be made in the 1800s as the Victorian design and rust dominates the look of the keyâ€. The Bathroom key unlocks the Bathroom door. The Bathroom key is in the broken vase. The Washroom is a room. The description of the Washroom is “The bathroom is filled with various paintings all over the walls. The sink appears to be filled with a red liquid. You shudder in fear as you realize the liquid is most likely blood. As you look around the room, you notice that the toilet is actually missing its cover and the paper seems to be ripped into shreds by what you can only assume to be an animal. The bathtub of the bathroom is filled with smelly bones and animal carcasses. You look closely and realize that some of the animals are still partly alive and tremble in terror. As you turn back to the door, you see a small black box near the countertop of the sink.â€. The Washroom is west of the Bathroom Door. The Bathroom Closet Door is a door. The description of the bathroom closet door is “A regular black closet door with strange web like fluid all around it. You figure that a spider might have spun the web a long time ago and don’t make a big deal out of itâ€. The Bathroom Closet Door is south of the Washroom. The Bathroom Closet Door is north of the Washroom Closet. The Washroom Closet is a room. Instead of entering Washroom Closet: say “You thought this was just an ordinary closet didn’t you. Turns out one of the animals in the bathtub took refuge in the closet and what do you know, it's a vicious black widow. Its fat black body jumps in your face and as you scream in terror, it bites you and you end your sad, miserable life in utter death.â€; end the game in death. Ken’s door is a locked closed door. The description of Ken’s door is “You see a 1x6 foot door made of some strange material. Seems like a pretty useless roomâ€. Ken’s door is west of the West hallway start. Ken’s door is east of ken’s room. The Useless Key is an object. The description of useless key is “This key looks like it unlocks something pretty uselessâ€. The useless key unlocks ken’s door. Ken’s room is a room. The Description of Ken’s room is “Oh God...Oh my...that isn’t okay… What kind of sick freak would have a room this bad...â€. Instead of entering Ken’s room: say “You pretty much asked for thisâ€; end the game in death. The Antique Table is an object. The description of the antique table is “This splendid antique oak antique table is a wonderful piece of English furniture. Originally made by Cooke’s Ltd. around the year 1960, it has survived the years in excellent condition although the thin undertone of darkness is felt by touching the table. Other than that, the oak wood of this antique table is stunning. It has developed a wonderful patina since its creation sometime around 1960. The strong grain and golden color of the oak goes perfectly with the antiqued brass hardware and gold tooled green leather. The finish on the wood is a fine coat of hand rubbed waxâ€. The Antique table is in The East Hallway middle. The Broken Vase is an object. The description of the broken vase is “A once beautiful vase that was decorated with a beautiful red design that seems to have a strange glowing tint to it. Sadly the current state of the vase is not so beautiful as the vase has been smashed into pieces. The bigger pieces seem to have dried blood on it, which seems to indicate that their have been other victims in this house. As you proceed to examine the antique table, you wonder if you will be next in line of the fallen, or if you will be the one to escape this death trapâ€. The Broken Vase is on the Antique Table. The Victorian Painting is an object. The description of the Victorian painting is “A astonishingly ugly painting that should have been considered beautiful. What once was a queen poses delicately has been vandalized to the point where the queen is barely noticeable. Big red crosses have been added to the painting’s eyes and thick slashes have been given to the bottom part of the painting. The queen’s fingernails have been painted long and pitch black. Worst of all, large red devil’s horns have been added to the Queen’s head and a title reading 'False ruler' has been written all over the paintingâ€. The Victorian painting is in The west hallway middle. Understand “painting†as victorian painting. The Guest Bedroom is a room. The description of the guest bedroom is “It seems whoever used to live here liked visitors. This room was almost over decorated, as if its owner was showing off to whomever was here to visit. Some objects had been broken on the ground but it was a luxurious space. The only unsettling feature being a portrait directly above the bed that gave off the sensation that you were being watchedâ€. The Guest Bedroom is east of the bedroom door. The Bedroom Door is a door. The Description of the bedroom door is “A door that is solid metal. Nothing would ever budge the door open. The surface of the door was flat and shiny like the outside of a stainless steel refrigerator. There was one handle, no lock, one hinge, barely anything to get a grip on." The Bedroom door is east of the East Hallway Start. The Broken door is a door. The description of the broken door is “Two of the four door panels are missing and there was a huge crack running along its middle. There were slashes across its front that made it look like that door had an encounter with wolverine". The broken door is south of the back hallway. The broken door is north of the hole. The hole is a room. Instead of entering the hole: say “ you made one wrong decision after the other. Walking in the direction of a hole is never going to yield a good outcome and you realize that as you fall down. 45 seconds later, when you hit the floor, the deafening sound of your neck cracking is heard through the entire mansion.â€; end the game in death. The Safe Room is a room. The description of the safe room is “ a regular room that is nicely illuminated with a table in the middle. The table has some nice flowers and reminds you of home.â€. The Safe room is north of the reinforced door. The Reinforced door is a door. The description of the reinforced door is “The door is solid brass. It is clear this room in particular is important. The door also has a lions head at its centre. The doors integrity has remained from whenever it was placed here. The doorknob is freezing cold and extremely stiffâ€. The reinforced door is north of the west hallway end. The End is a room. The End is east of the balcony door. The Victorian painting is fixed in place. The broken vase is fixed in place. The Antique Table is fixed in place Instead of entering the end: say “Congratulations! You have finished the mansion! You are overjoyed! So much in fact, that you decide that perhaps, you should give a few people a much needed A â€; end the game in victory. The Hidden door is a door. The hidden door is a scenery door. The hidden door is east of the east hallway end. The description of the hidden door is “The small door is barely visible and very low to the ground. Going through it would require one to crawl through and hope for the best. The door seems oddly reinforced with heavy brass lining the aged frame. I wonder what such a door could lead toâ€. The Secret room is a room. The description of the secret room is “Hmm something about this room leads you to believe it to be special...â€. The secret room is east of the hidden door. Instead of entering secret room: say “Outstanding! You have managed to find the secret chamber and have managed to make it through the mansion!â€; end the game in victory. The Balcony Door is a locked closed door. The description of the balcony door is “This door has a stained glass panel that is now too old to clearly see through but it seems to be a possible means of getting out of this mansion. The wooden frame is painted white and the handle and keyhole are made of gold â€. The balcony door is east of the safe room. The Balcony key is an object. The description of the balcony key is “This key seems useless...just kidding it’s a key...why would it be useless? The key looks to be made of goldâ€. The balcony key unlocks the balcony door. The Storage Closet is a room. The description of the storage closet is “The closet is the size of your bedroom back home. You wonder if you’ll ever get to see that bedroom again. Inside this huge closet there are old fabrics and other useless items, as well as a mass in the cornerâ€. The storage closet is east of the White door. The White Door is a door. The description of the white door is “Before you is a white door, the paint is peeling off and there is a strange emblem on the door handle. The door looked almost too ordinaryâ€. The white door is east of the east hallway middle. The Wood Box is a fixed in place closed openable locked container. The description of the wood box is “A wood box, very treasure chest like object sits here. It was square and small. What could it contain? There is some mould growing on the side of the box and carved on the side are strange markingsâ€. The wood box is in the washroom. The Crowbar is an object. The crowbar unlocks the wood box. The description of the crowbar is “A heavy crude iron crowbar. It is nearly impossible to guess how old the item is. It feels irregularly heavy in your hand. Could it be your exhaustion or maybe the material? Maybe it is even just your nerves. Regardless, the crowbar looks as if it could come in handyâ€. The crowbar is in the foyer. The Black Chest is a fixed in place closed openable container. The description of the black chest is “A sleek black chest sits in the room. It looks almost as if it were glowing as it rest there. What could the chest possibly contain you wonder. The chest has no sort of decorations but is still sleek and elegant. You are almost hypnotised by its shineâ€. The black chest is in the Guest bedroom. The Jewel box is a fixed in place closed openable locked container. The description of the jewel box is “The box is so small but decorated extravagantly, clearly it belonged to someone of status. The tiny box is covered in details and surprisingly heavy. The bronze decor around the box allows you to see a crude reflection of yourself. At least you hope it’s a crude reflection...maybe you did looked that terrible and grimy. It would be an interesting antique aside from the fact that it’s found in a mansion of which you may never escape out ofâ€. The jewel box is in the wood box. The Gold key unlocks the jewel box. The gold key is an object. The gold key is in the black chest. The description of the gold key is “a small golden key that shimmers in the darkness. Small encrusted jewels surround the key. You pick it up and notice that the key is surprisingly heavy for its size. You ask yourself if the weight is due to your starvation or your sanityâ€. The White box is a fixed in place closed openable locked container. The description of the white box is “looks brand new, it glows and shitâ€. The balcony key is in the white box. The white box is in the black chest. The Glowing key unlocks the white box. The glowing key is an object. The glowing key is in the jewel box. The description of the glowing key is “There’s a strange glow to this key. It glows like a halo with a small aura of light around it. The key was so small and delicate it seemed like it would break if it was simply dropped on the floor, much like an apple productâ€. The Hungry Man is in the Storage Closet. A hungry man is a man. Hungry man can be awake or asleep. The description of hungry man is "To your surprise the mass within the Storage closet turns over, revealing a man who seems to be covered in hair, with a huge beard that grew crazy in all directions. You can tell that underneath the beard the man was sickly and frail. There was a strange smell coming from him and upon closer inspection you find strange scratchings on the ground that look like small wheels ". Hungry man is awake. Every turn when the player can touch hungry man: if hungry man is asleep: say "The hungry man snores loudly on the ground."; otherwise: say "The hungry man says, 'Hey, you got any Oreos? I got the munchies real bad. I really could go for a burger right now. You sure you don't got any extra food in that bulging inventory sack of yours?". Food is a kind of thing. Food is edible. A chocolate bar is food. It is carried by the player. A turkey leg is food. It is carried by the player. The description of the chocolate bar is “The chocolate bar is from a brand of which you have never heard of. It seems that after carrying it, it has become too warm and melted. Gross but still edible nonetheless â€. The description of the turkey leg is “The turkey leg is so under-seasoned that bread has more flavour! That’s what Gordon said when the leg was cooked but it really wasn’t that bad! Not a masterchef level turkey leg but it’s still foodâ€. Check giving something to the hungry man: if the noun is not food: say "'I CAN'T EAT THIS!' hollers the hungry man." instead; After giving food to the hungry man: try hungry man eating the noun; say "The hungry man collapses instantly and falls asleep."; now hungry man is asleep; the hungry man wakes in ten turns from now. At the time when the hungry man wakes: now hungry man is awake. Lurking Monster is a man. Carry out opening the white box: if the Lurking Monster is off-stage: now the Lurking Monster is in guest bedroom; say "Suddenly, a disgusting creature erupts from the walls and presents itself in front of you. In a scream of terror, you do the only thing you can do. You must run for your life and soon you come to a balcony.â€. Every turn when Lurking Monster is not off-stage: let direction be the best route from the location of Lurking Monster to the location; let next space be direction; if the location of Lurking Monster is the location: say "The hideous creature jumps up and the last thing you hear before the monster claws his way through your abdomen, is the horrendous snarl that is heard throughout the house. Your last memory is your heart being snatched out of your body and into the monster’s stomach."; end the game in death; otherwise if the location of the Lurking monster is adjacent to the location: say "The growling is very near! You need to move!"; Otherwise: say "You hear a horrible growling moving in the distance."
