Instead of examining stout mover: say "A very round man. [line break]When he notices you looking at him, gives a friendly smile, and you notice he's missing several teeth."
Instead of asking or telling stout mover about something: say "He smiles his low-tooth-count smile and nods his head, but you get the feeling he doesn't understand what you're saying."
Instead of showing something to stout mover: say "He gives you a thumbs-up and a gap-filled smile."

Red pear and loaf of bread are edible.

After looking in the kitchen: say "Through the North doorway is the living room. Through the West doorway is the hall leading to the bedrooms."

The Bathroom is a room.

There is a bathroom cupboard in the bathroom. Bathroom cupboard is a closed, openable container.  Bathroom cupboard is fixed in place. Instead of examining bathroom cupboard: say "The cupboard under the sink in the bathroom."
There is a flashlight in the bathroom cupboard.
There is a bathroom sink, a toilet, and a shower in the bathroom. Instead of examining shower: say "A small shower with a pale blue shower curtain." Instead of examining bathroom sink: say "A sink with two handles, the left one for cold water and the right one for hot water."
