“Game Title” by author The story headline is “The subtitle or subheading” Use brief room descriptions. At 9:01 AM: say “You stumble, groggy and a little confused”. At 9:02 AM: say “You stumble, still confused”. At 9:03 AM: say “You steady yourself”. At 9:04 AM: say “You wonder just how late did you stay up last night”. At 9:05 AM: say “You stumble again and get up, wincing this time”. At 9:06 AM: say “What is this? Could this be what the game was talking about?”. At 9:07 AM: say “You land in the Bedroom again, confused. Why are you back here? You think to yourself, maybe there's a way out of this place. Your mind wanders to the Mirror Room.”. At 9:08 AM: say "keep going to the Mirror Room.". At 9:10 AM: say "You wonder what could the Mirror Room possibly hold. Perhaps something is... loose? No, this is a game. Why would there be a mirror loose? Think, think, think, perhaps there is a different exit...". At 9:11 AM: say "You examine closely and see there is a mirror missing on the western side. How you missed it before you don't know, but it looks like a bridge was covered by the missing mirror. Step out on the bridge.". At 9:12 AM: say "You tentatively step out, unsure if this rickety and termite eaten bridge can hold you. You look down and wish you had not; you are very high up. The boards near the house have fallen; the only option is to enter the Tower in the west, which is the bridge's far side." At 9:13 AM: say "A trapdoor slides down from the northern wall. Congratulations! You escaped! But that is only 1 part of your victory. Now you must rescue...". At 9:14 AM: say "THE GAME ITSELF!". When play begins, say “This appears above the Game Title” Bedroom is a room. “This is the starting room since it is the first described. This is the room description. Hint: look at the window. Then go north, north, north, north, east, north again, and come back down”. Window is scenery in Bedroom. “A rusty, broken up useless window.” Hallway is north of Bedroom. Corridor is north of Hallway. Mirror Room is north of Corridor. Mind Room is north of Mirror Room. Bonus Room is east of Mind Room. Bedroom is down from Chute. Chute is north of Bonus Room. Bridge is west of Mirror Room. Tower is west of Bridge. Trapdoor is north of Tower.
