"house attempt" by Adrienne Davis Living room is a room. There are doors to the East, Southeast, and Southwest. "You are in what your mother might call the den but what you yourself would call a living room.This room is where you watch TV and play video games and other such things. Every once in a while everyone gets together for a family game night. There is a rather shabby leather couch near the center of the room with a small table in front of it, a futon to one side and an arm chair to the other." A futon is here. The futon is fixed in place."This futon was constructed last weekend to replace the one that Chris Henderson pissed on. It is not incredibly comfortable, but it serves." A couch is here. The couch is fixed in place. "This couch is made of leather and has seen better days. There are small rips in places but until the futon came it was the couch of choice for overnight guests." A chair is here. The chair is fixed in place. "This chair is perhaps the worst piece of furniture you have. The cat often uses it as a bed and scratching post so there are numerous holes and stuffing leaking out of the top." A Plate is here. "There is a dirty plate sitting on the table. One of your roommates must have left it here." Your room is a room. Your room is southeast of the Living room. "This is where you spend much of your time. Your bed is unmade and much of the rest of the room is untidy. You tell people that it is organized mess but this is untrue." Keys are here. "these are the keys to the front door and your jeep parked out front. There is a spare key to your parents house that is painted red with nail polish." Slippers are here. slippers are wearable. "Your mother gave these to you several years ago and they are toasty warm. They guard well against the strange stickyness that is sometimes present on the kitchen floor." Lockpicks are here. "one of your hobbies is picking locks. The metal picks are contained in a small black leather case. you usually do not use your pick on house locks because of the possibility of breaking the lock. There are a few memorable exceptions." David's room is a room. David's room is east of the Living room. "you came in here looking for david but he is not here.". an old sock is here. "this is one of david's old socks. better not touch it." Kitchen is a room. The Kitchen is southwest of the Living room. A sink is here. The sink is fixed in place. Sink is a container. "the sink is about what you expect." A table is here. The table is fixed in place. "The table is made from an old door. it serves." Backyard is a room. a dragon is here. instead of attacking the dragon, end the story saying "that was rather foolish.". the old white door is south of the Kitchen and north of the Backyard. the old white door is a door. It is lockable and locked. The keys unlock the old white door.
