When play begins, say "You've somehow managed to get through a class period...barely. You wake from your sleep and noticed that you're in an empty class, once filled with students, desks, and a teacher."

The UML Classroom is a room. "You are in a classroom with no windows. There are a single chair and desk at the middle of the room. The door is south of the empty chair and desk. A locked brown door with a letter shaped keyhole is west of the empty chair and desk."

The Hallway is a room. it is east of the UML Classroom.
Instead of going east in the Hallway when the player carries the key: say "You unlock the door and left your classroom."; move the player to the Hallway.
Every turn when the player is in the Hallway: say "You have made it out of your classroom, officially done with class. Time to play some video games! Oh, after I finish my piles of writing assignments."; end the story.

The brown door is a door. The brown door is west of the UML Classroom and east of the Hallway.

The A-shaped key unlocks the brown door.

The Office is a room. It is south of The UML Classroom. " The teacher's room, where she plans for class and work on grading. There's the teacher's name tag. You see the teacher's agenda for class and graded tests of your fellow classmates. There's a door west of the teacher's desk."

The Laboratory is a room. It is west of the Office. "You see four lab tables, each labeled with a different number. On table one, you see two test tubes and an empty flask. One test tube is labeled HCl and the other labeled NaOH. On table two, you see graded lab reports. On table three, there are two metal objects. One is a key and the other is a burner. Table four is empty."

The rusted key is a thing. Table three is fixed in place. The rusted key is in the Laboratory.
