Parking lot is a room. Restaurant is a room. Restaurant is north of Parking lot. When play begins: now the right hand status line is "[time of day]". The time of day is 7:58 AM. When play begins: say "[bold type]This is a test scenario, feel free to copy the code for this.[paragraph break][roman type] If you want a scenario where it feels like you are in a living breathing city with shops opening and closing around you, use this code. To the north of you is a restaurant, at 8 AM it opens. At 5 PM it closes. [paragraph break] [italic type] Test me with 'north' 'south' 'z' and 'sleep' [line break]" A shop is a kind of room. Restaurant is a shop. "This shop opens at 8 AM and closes at 5 PM." Understand "sleep" and "sleeping" as sleeping. Instead of sleeping: say "You doze off for 2 hours."; increase the time of day by 2 hours. Check going to a shop (called the target): if the time of day is before 8:00 AM, say "[The target] is locked up until 8:00 AM." instead. Check going to a shop (called the target): if the time of day is after 5:00 PM, say "The [The target] is locked up after 5:00 PM." instead.
