"Escape the Wizard's Castle - Jacqueline Maxwell"

The Tower is a room. "You are startled awake by a rumbling and find yourself in a stone room with no way out except through a window. It appears to be pretty high up because the only view is of the clouds in the sky. There is a wooden chest to the west of you." The Small Key is in the Tower.

The Window is north of the Tower. "You peer out the window and your heart drops as you cannot even see the ground from here. How will you get out of here??"

The Wall is east of the tower. "You turn to the east and stare at a blank stone wall. No time for dilly-dallying! There's nothing here."

The Wooden Chest is a door. The Wooden Chest is a closed locked door. The Small Key unlocks the Wooden Chest. The Wooden Chest is west of the Tower.

The description of the Wooden Chest is "You turn your attention to the wooden chest...it's locked. What could be inside it?"

The Chest Inventory is north of the Wooden Chest. "You peer into the chest at its contents. There are so many cool objects in here!" The Toy Car is in the Chest Inventory. The Empty Wine Bottle is in the Chest Inventory. The Rusty Screwdriver is in the Chest Inventory. The Magic Carpet is in the Chest Inventory.

After taking the Magic Carpet: say "You pick up a bundle of cloth and savor its soft fibers as you rub it across your cheek. Wait...is it glowing? Looks like you can go out (north) through the window now! :D"

Instead of examining magic carpet: say "A magic glowing carpet! It hovers just above your palms as you hold it."

The Woods is north of the Window. "You float down from the tower on your magic carpet and find yourself in the middle of the woods. Who cares? You escaped the castle! Time to go out for some ice cream and forget this whole ordeal! There is a darker expanse of the woods to the east of you and a bright opening that leads to a nice little valley to the west of you."

The Dark Woods is east of the Woods. "You wander into the darkness and walk a mile or two in silence...there are strange noises coming from all around you..But there's a light at the end of this tunnel! Continue east!"

The Civilization is east of the Dark Woods. "You successfully escaped your doom and the Wizard did not come after you! Congratulations, you've reached civilization! (:"

The Valley is west of the Woods. "You skip through the woods until you reach the sunny plains! The birds are chirping and life is good! It looks like there is a river just ahead (north of here)! Boy, you are thirsty..."

The River is north of the Valley. The River is a room. "Looks like the river is clear as a window! The water is probably really fresh! Oh wait...what is that floating right in front of you? You feel an urge to pull on the floating stick."

The stick is in the river.

After taking stick: say "The stick...was not a stick!!!! The river water separates as a giant river monster rises from the depths and you stare right into the dark hole that is it's throat..."; end the game in death.
