"the Blue" The Blue is a room. "You are standing in the Blue, despite its name, nothing in your surroundings is that colour. To the north you can find the Silver." There is a seashell in the Blue. The seashell is a container. "On the ground, in front of you, lays a beautiful seashell". In the seashell is a golden key. the description of the seashell is "when you shake it, you seem to hear a metallic sound coming from inside of it. What could it be? (for now let's just call it a 'thing')". the description of the key is "it is a key, golden and shimmery, I wonder what it might open..." understand "shell" as seashell. understand "key" as golden key. understand "thing" as golden key. instead of examining the seashell, say "[description]". north of the Blue is Silver. Silver is a room. "This place does make justice to its name. All around you is of said colour, including a small cabinet. The door is on the west wall" . an elaborate Door is a locked openable door. the elaborate Door is west of the Silver and east of the Gold. the seashell unlocks the elaborate Door. understand "door" as the elaborate Door. the description of the elaborate Door is "There is an engraving in it. Its silhouette reminds you of something you have seen... This might be key to opening this door." There is a cabinet in the Silver. the cabinet is a closed locked openable container. The golden key unlocks the cabinet. After opening the cabinet, say "inside of it there is only dust and a spiderweb, what were you expecting? a treasure?". instead of examining the cabinet: if the cabinet is open, say "The cabinet is empty except for some dust and a spiderweb". the Gold is a room. Every turn: if the player is in the Gold: end the game in victory
