"Lost Duck" The story headline is "An Interactive unofficial fan version of Lost Pig" Use brief room descriptions. When play begins: say "Warning: this game is an unofficial fan version of Admiral Jota's Lost Pig which was entered into the 2007 Interactive Fiction Competition. I got permission to create this game by the author on Thursday 28 March 2019, after visiting the Adventurer's Lounge on ifMUD. In Lost Pig, the game is written in broken English, as Grunk isn't very clever. Again, this is an unofficial fan version of Lost pig, and not the sequel or prequel or whatever, so things might seem a bit different to the original game." After printing the banner text: say "It's been twelve years since that Lost Pig incident, and you've started to employ ducks. Yes, that's right, thosethings that you sometimes see on the pond in your local park, the kind of animal that you'd feed crusts of mouldy bread to, that sort of thing. Well anyway one of those got out the duckhouse yesterday and you have got to find it. But how?" The Duckhouse is a room. "You are in a large, smelly room filled with bits of straw and cracked egg shells that you accidentally stepped on so that the poor little eggs broke. While 'duckhouse' isn't really a word in the English vocabulary, you've chosen to call this converted hen coupe that because this is where you keep all the ducks that you own. To the south, a door leads out toward the pond, although you don't expect the duck to be in there. All that remains between you and the pond is a few yards of mud."
