Instead of examining the flashlight: say "The flashlight is a handy tool that can light up dark areas." Instead of taking the flashlight: say "You pick up the flashlight." Instead of dropping the flashlight: say "You drop the flashlight." Instead of switching on the flashlight: say "The flashlight flickers to life, illuminating the area." Instead of switching off the flashlight: say "The flashlight goes dark." Instead of looking: say "You see your surroundings." Instead of going north: say "You move to the north." Instead of going south: say "You move to the south." Instead of going east: say "You move to the east." Instead of going west: say "You move to the west."
