You see an entrance to the north leading into a large Cave.[end if][if the Cave is visited]Light is shining in from a Cave to the east.[end if]" The Cave is room. [if the Cave is unvisited]"The Cave is dark. The only thing you can see is the top rung of a ladder. You might want to examine the wall to look for a light switch."[Type 'examine wall' or 'examine a wall' or 'examine the wall' or 'examine the wall' to examine a wall.][end if][if the Cave is visited] The wall is fixed in place in the Cave. It is scenery. The description of the wall is "You found a light switch and turned it on. You can now see a large opening in the ground. You can also see that the ladder leads down into a Cavern below." The ladder is an open unlocked door. The ladder is above the Cavern and below the cave. The Cavern is a room. [if the cavern is unvisited]"Light from above is shining into the Cavern, and you can see that the Cavern is a small room. Stones, pebbles, and gravel litter the ground. The smell of burned hair and rotting corpses is eminent." [Type 'examine door or 'x door' to examine the old door.][end if][if the cavern is visited] The old door is a closed unlocked door. The description of the old door is "You try to open the old door, and it is unlocked." The old door is north of the Cavern and south of the Garden. The Garden is a room. [if the Garden is unvisited]"You enter into what seems to be an indoor garden. Light shines in from the dozen windows along the walls. Withered plants are strewn on the ground. and some are still in the soil trench which runs along the right side. No one has visited this place in a long time. Straight ahead, you see a large Gold Door, and a desk is to the left of it."[end if][if the Garden is visited] The Gold Door is north of the Garden and south of the Arena. The Gold Door is a locked closed door. The Large Key unlocks the Gold Door. The desk is in the Garden. The drawer is a closed, openable container. The drawer is part of the desk. The drawer is a closed openable container. In the drawer is the Large Key. The description of the desk is "It is an old wooden desk with a drawer." The Arena is a room. [if the Arena is unvisited]"You enter into a colossal Arena. However, it is abandoned. The stands for the spectators are all in bad repair. You suddently double over with cramps and a muscle pain. You haven't eaten in a week! You see a cookie on the floor in front of you. It might be your only hope of survival!"[end if][if the Arena is visited] The floor is a supporter. On the floor is a cookie. The floor is fixed in place in the Arena. The cookie is an object. The cookie is edible. The description of the cookie is "The cookie is edible." After eating the cookie: say "You fill your hungry stomach with the cookie. As you stand up, you are suddenly afflicted with serious convulsions. Your head fills with excruciating pain. It was poisoned! You pass out. [paragraph break] [paragraph break] Your eyes suddenly flit open. Your stomach burns with an intensity that you never thought possible. On the dirt wall next to you, a message is etched in messy handwriting. You did not notice this before." The dirt wall is fixed in place in the Arena. It is scenery. The description of the dirt wall is "The message says, 'Beware. Next time you won't wake up.' [paragraph break] You turn around because you hear a strange sound. You see a monster....crawling....you....Chomp!....Darkness." After examining dirt wall: end the game in death.
