"Survivor: Seafoam Islands Challenge 4 - Three Tribes, Three Shibes" Use no scoring. The Entrance is south of the Challenge Area Starting Point. "[if the Entrance is unvisited]Welcome to Smogon Survivor's first interactive fiction game and your fourth immunity challenge, called 'Three Tribes and Three Shibes.' The tribe(s) that completes this challenge first wins tribal immunity. The tribe(s) that completes this challenge last will go to Tribal Council, where they will vote out one of their own. Since Open World is in play, you are allowed to communicate with people outside of your tribe to finish this challenge. This challenge requires a tribe to find three different Shiba Inu hidden within this Choose-Your-Adventure style text game. Enter the game and be perceptive of your text-based surroundings and creative in your puzzle solving to be victorious. The challenge ends when at least two tribes have proven that they know the location of all three shibes by sharing three screenshots of finding the shibes. Contestants may play this game by clicking on the > and typing in various commands that will trigger results. To start playing the game, click on the > and type in 'go north', 'north', or 'n' to head north into the forest to start looking for those shibes. Once you've typed it, go ahead and hit the enter key.[end if][if the Entrance is visited]You are in the Entrance. Type 'examine sparkle' or 'x sparkle' to examine the sparkle.[end if][if the Challenge Pond is visited]You are in the Challenge Pond. The Challenge Area Starting Point is to the east and the sign will tell you where the next room is.[end if]" The sparkle is fixed in place in the Challenge Pond. It is scenery. "[if the Hallway is unvisited]Excellent! Your next step is learning about objects, doors, and opening/unlocking them. Here there is a door and a box. The door is locked. To unlock the door, you will first need a key. I wonder if there is one in that box? Type 'open box' to see what's inside.[end if][if Hallway is visited]You are in the Hallway. Below you is the Challenge Pond and east of you is the door. You can also see a box here.[end if]" The box is a closed, fixed in place, openable container in the Hallway. It is scenery. You can drop objects at anytime by typing 'drop' followed by the object. Go ahead and unlock the door by typing 'unlock door with key'." After unlocking the wooden door with the key: say "You unlocked the door. Type 'open door' to open it." After opening the wooden door: say "You opened the door. To go through the door, just go to the east." The Vault is a room. "[if Vault is unvisited]Very nice. You are almost at the end of our tutorial. Next, let's learn about devices. The Vault is to the north.[end if]" The description of the Wizard is "A wise looking old man in a flowing blue robe covered with shiny stars who has the power to open the portal." The portal is a closed, locked, openable door. It is scenery. The portal is west of the Study and north of ecstasy. Player is carrying potion book. The description of potion book is "Ooooooo, I think you should show this to someone." Player is carrying a small rock. The description of the small rock is "A small useless rock." After asking the Wizard about "Portal", say "'So you want to go through my portal? Well then, we may have a problem. See, I forgot how to open it. If only I could remember... Say, I've heard you may have something in your inventory that could help me. Check your inventory by typing 'inventory' or 'i' and then show me something you think would help by typing 'show (object) to wizard'." After telling the Wizard about "Portal", say "So you want to go through my portal? Well then, we may have a problem. See, I forgot how to open it. If only I could remember... Say, I've heard you may have something in your inventory that could help me. Check your inventory by typing 'inventory' or 'i' and then show me something you think would help by typing 'show wizard' followed by the object that you think would help.'" Instead of showing the key to the Wizard: say "'No, no, no. How would a key help? What else do you have?'" Instead of showing the small rock to the Wizard: say "'No, no, no. That is just a rock. What else do you have?'" Instead of showing potion book to the Wizard: now the portal is open; say "'Just what I was looking for! Ok, now the portal to the west is open. Go through it to end your game.'" Every turn: if the player is in Ecstasy: say "You've solved every riddle, you've passed every obstacle, and you've gone through every room. You have completed the tutorial and are now ready to play some interactive fiction! This tutorial will have not taught you everything, but it has given you a good basis on what to do in all your future adventures. Have fun in the land of Playfic!"; end the game in victory.
