Tonight, you have been selected to be executed under direct orders from the king. Escape the castle as quickly as possible. To the West is the Kitchen. To the East is the Living Room. To the South is the Garden." The Kitchen is west of the Entrance. "After approaching the kitchen you can see a few boiling pots, some chicken and other meats. None of this should be of interest to someone being executed in the next 24 hours." A table is here. The table is a supporter. There is a fork, a spoon and a knife on the table. Instead of taking fork: End the story; say "You take the fork and drop it right on your feet. It pierces through your veins and you scream as you drop to your death.". Instead of examining spoon: End the story; say "You examine the patterns engraved into the spoon but upon a closer look you realize it's just a bone? Is that possible? Have you been hallucinating? Is this a dream? HELP! HELP! HELP!". Instead of taking spoon: End the story; say "You hold the spoon with pride but upon a closer look you realize it's burning your hand? Is that possible? Have you been hallucinating? Is this a dream? HELP! HELP! HELP!". Instead of taking knife: say "You feel a sense of deja vu after holding the knife and decide to put it back.". The Garden is south of the Entrance. "You approach the Garden that reeks of bone marrow and fertilizer. To the south are the Castle Gates. To the north is the Entrance." There are roses and bushes in the garden. The description of the roses is "Roses are red, violets are blue, you'll be executed on July 22." Instead of examining the bushes: End the story; say "Somebody never got an allergy test." Instead of taking roses: say "Why do I need this again?" Instead of taking bushes: say "Maybe I should take a closer look at these bushes." The Castle Gate is south of the Garden. "[if player does not have heavy dagger]After approaching the Castle Gate, you get yelled at by the two Skeleton Guards and cannot go any further outside of the castle.[end if][if player has heavy dagger]You wave the dagger at the guard and he runs away. To the south is the forest." The Forest is south of the Castle Gate. The Living Room is east of the Entrance. "You enter the Living Room to find 2 couches and a red button . You see a red button with some writing above it. To your north is the Storage Room." The 2 couches are in the living room. The 2 couches are fixed in place.The description of the couches is "Ripped leather couches, rumor says it was the King who cut them with his blade." The red button is in the living room. The description of the red button is "DO NOT TOUCH". Instead of pushing the red button: change the northwest exit of the storage room to King's Bedroom; change the southeast exit of the King's Bedroom to storage room; say "You hear something shuffle around.". The Storage Room is north of the Living Room. "You come into the Storage Room. Here lies all of the King's unnecessary belongings. You find nothing that interests you other than bone shampoo. To the northwest is a door that leads to.. nothing? Nobody knows what's back there." Bone shampoo is in the storage room. Bone shampoo is edible. The description of bone shampoo is "Made in 1923, apply daily, inedible." Instead of eating bone shampoo: End the story; say "Why did you do that..." The King's Bedroom is a room. [if the King's Bedroom is visited through Storage Room] "You take the secret entrance and approach the room."[end if] There is a small cabinet and a medium cabinet and a large cabinet inside the King's Bedroom. The small cabinet is fixed in place. The medium cabinet is fixed in place. The large cabinet is fixed in place. Inside the small cabinet is a gold key, a silver coin, and a chess board. Inside the medium cabinet is a ham sandwich and a water bottle. Inside the large cabinet is a heavy dagger. The description of the gold key is "A well forged golden key that belongs to the king." The description of the silver coin is "The ancient currency of skeleton trade, probably not worth anything now." The description of the chess board is "A brand new chess board with pieces made from pure bones... that might be me next." The description of the ham sandwich is "Ham! My favorite food. Just the sight of it gives me some energy." The description of the water bottle is "Imported from Tuvalu? Is that even a real place?" The description of the heavy dagger is "Not the sharpest but it might get the job done?" Ham sandwich is edible. The bulk of the heavy dagger is 10. The King is a person in the King's Bedroom. Every turn when the player can see the King: say "The King grunts and walks back and forth around the bed." Instead of asking the King about something: say "Go away! I better see you in the execution room by 11 tonight." Instead of telling the King about something: say "How about you tell me that once you're on the chopping block?" Every turn: if the player has been in the King's Bedroom for 5 turns, say "GET OUT! OUT! YOU BETTER BE READY TO GET EXECUTED!"; move player to storage room. The king can be active or passive. The king is active. Before doing something to the king: now the king is passive; Instead of telling the king about something: say "Why does the king need to hear your opinion?" Instead of asking the king about something: say "The King is starting to get angry. You better leave while you can." Every turn when the king is passive: now the king is active. Every turn while in the forest: if score is 1 begin; say "You have won"; end the game in victory; end if.
