"The life of a football player" By John Lilly & Vianney Torres. The FedEx Field is a room. "It's the last game of the season. You're playing against your hated rivals, the Dallas Cowboys. The game is tied 21-21 with 5 seconds on the clock. You've been practicing on the side, you've made hundreds of field goals, this one should be no different. The Coach turns to you, gives you your cue and says, 'You're all we got!' Go north or south." >You go north to the [going north] EXIT is north of FedEx Field. "You lost to the Cowboys. LOSER. You should just go home and hang your head in shame." Home is north of EXIT. Home is a room. "When you arrive at your house, your son comes running up to you and says, 'Dad! You're home! How did you do in the game?' 'It was a close game but we lost to the Cowboys'. Your son doesn't seem to pay attention though and asks, 'Can we play catch?' 'Sure thing!' You have fun playing catch with your son". The corridor is in home. Your daughter is a person in the corridor. Every turn when the player can see the daughter: say "Your daughter wants to watch a movie with you. Since you got home early from the game, will you go downstairs with her? You can either stay in the corridor or go downstairs to the basement." The Basement is a room. The basement is down of home. "You go downstairs and watch the movie Despicable Me with your daughter. It's a story about a crazy scientist who adopts three little girls. He struggles with balancing his work as a science genius with being a step-father. Ultimately, he sees the greater value in being a father to the three little girls and forgoes his career as a scientist. This makes you glad you didn't make that game-winning field goal! You could have turned out to be a dad who's absorbed in only his work." Every turn: if the player is in basement: say "Even though you missed the game-winning field goal against the Cowboys and are taking tons of criticism from the fans and the media, you're glad you got to spend time with your daughter and your son. You may have failed on the field, but you won off the field. You've been a good dad today :-) ."; end the game in victory. >You go south towards your offensive line by [going south] THE FOOTBALL is south of FedEx Field. "Which way will you guide your kick, east or west?" [going south-succeeded] >You kicked the ball west which results in a [kicking football] FAIL! is west of THE FOOTBALL. [kicking football-succeeded] "The crowd boo's you uncontrollably. The Lockeroom is the only place you can hide now. Luckily, the Cowboys called a timeout attempting to ice you. You have another chance! Go east." >You run west hiding your face from the crowd towards [running] the Lockeroom is west of FAIL! >You kicked the ball east [kicking football] IT'S GOOD! is east of THE FOOTBALL. "You're the hero! Your teammates rush the field. After the game you talk to what seems like hundreds of reporters. They bug you like knats. When will they ever go away? Once the final one leaves your lockeroom, you pack up your things and head mansion. Your mansion is north of the stadium". Mansion is north of IT'S GOOD. "You arrive to your mansion to a note on the door." East is a wood door. The wood door is unlocked open door. "The note says 'I miss you dad'. West leads to the Hallway in your mansion". The wood door is north of Mansion. Your wife is in the Hallway. Every turn when the player can see the son: say "Your son and wife are have their bags packed and are about to leave. You ask them why they're leaving. They say that you've been too consumed with football. With the winning kick you just made hours ago, you make you're family feel abandoned and uncared for. Go south to try and keep your family from leaving you." Instead of asking the son about something: say "hmm?". Instead of telling the son about something: say "huh?" The Hallway is west of Mansion. Your son is in the Hallway. The son is a person in the Hallway. Every turn: if the player has been in the Hallway for 1 turn, say "Finally, your wife glares at you and says 'We're leaving! Goodbye!' After much arguing and pleading, your you are not able to keep your family from leaving. Your wife, son, and daughter depart the house and drive away in your new 2012 Ferrari. The only place you can go from here is north, to bed". Bed is north of Hallway. "Depressed and lonely, you head upstairs to bed." Every turn: if the player is in bed: say "You had so may reporters begging for your attention after the game. 'The hero! What a kick!' they kept saying. You also went out to the bar afterwards with your teammates to celebrate. Because you were so absorbed with work you neglected the most important thing: your family. You may have won on the field, but off the field you lost."; end the game in victory.
