“Escape Chucky" by Daniel, Jeffrey, Ken Use no scoring. When entire game begins: Say “It’s beginning to rain. I knew I should’ve checked the weather before I went out to go hiking. Cold, soaked, and shivering, I start jogging home along the path I just tracked. A little ways off in front of me I see a large, obscure man in a long coat, strangely standing still, despite what is now heavy rain. I rush past him, and then thunder cracked.†The Unknown Room is a room. "My head throbs… and now it’s starting to hurt like hell. I steadily open my eyes, and wait until my vision lines up and adjusts to the darkness. W-where am I? It’s hard to breathe and see in here… I can make out the outlines of a door to the north, a desk to the east, and a reachable bookshelf to the west. I try to get up, but then I notice something painful around my wrists that obstructs my effort. Are those... cuffs?†There are restraint cuffs in the unknown room. The description of the restraint cuffs is "There’s a chain connecting the cuffs to the wall. The cuffs are tight, but you can distance yourself a little from the wall. You can reach the shelf. Imprinted on the cuffs is a message. Don’t listen to Roman." Restraint cuffs is a closed openable locked container. The engine oil unlocks the restraint cuffs. Instead of eating the restraint cuffs: say “Because you can’t get them off, you resort to your inner child and start eating anything in your sight. The metal is rather soft but you cannot get anything removed. You finally break a part of the cuff but you commence to choke on the very part. Not only are your teeth heavily damaged, you are choking on restraint cuffs. What a day!â€; end the game in death. Understand “cuffs†as restraint cuffs. Instead of eating the oil: say "You begin to feel your stomach stir around and your throat begins to close up. Why on earth would you eat oil?"; end the game in death. Instead of drinking the oil: say "You begin to feel your stomach stir around and your throat begins to close up. Why on earth would you eat oil?"; end the game in death. Instead of burning the oil: say "The oil starts to get warm very quickly, you needed heat but this may be excessive. A huge fire lights up and you receive serious burns. You scream in agony. You did Chucky a favour, he likes his victims warm."; end the game in death. There is a sign in the unknown room. The description of the sign is "12 hours to your execution. Signed, Chucky Death." There is a bookshelf in the unknown room. There is engine oil on the bookshelf. The description of the engine oil is "This bottle is the world's #1 leading brand of slippery substances. Inside the restraint cuffs is a key. “There is a key within the cuffs.†After taking key: say “Well how come I can’t use the key unless the cuffs is unlocked? Stupid developers.†The Bathroom is a room. The description of bathroom is "Almost immaculate, and the floor and walls are covered with glistening white. You can see cockroaches crawl across the floor. You shudder in disgust. When you enter, you hear the unknown room door slam shut." The unknown room door is north of the unknown room and south of the bathroom. The unknown room door is a fixed in place closed openable locked door. The key unlocks the unknown room door. There is a ladder in the bathroom. The ladder is fixed in place. The description of the ladder is "Made of old wood and creaky. Precarious but might be useful. A thick layer of cobwebs and dust covers the ladder. There is an opening above the ladder that you might be able to fit through." There is a red sign in the bathroom. The description of the red sign is "8 hours to your execution. I am coming after you. Chucky knows." The Laundry Room is a room. The Laundry Room is west of the bathroom. The description of the Laundry Room is "Colourful painted walls. Mostly red. You can see a washing machine and a dryer here. They both seem to be stained with blood. You sniff the air. Smells terrible. There is also a Laundry Room west of the Bathroom. There is a door frame, but no door. The frame is cracked and splintered." There is a blue sign in the Laundry Room. The description of the blue sign is "There is no escape." Chucky is a person. Understand "Chuck" as Chucky. Every turn: if player is in a room (called Laundry Room): move Chucky to unknown room. Instead of going south while in bathroom: say "The walls shake and the lights flicker as you enter, your legs begin to tremble in fear and your stomach begins to stir. A whip of thunder can be heard. The last thing you see is a doll like man. It was Chucky…â€; end the game in death. Instead of going to unknown room while in bathroom: say "The walls shake and the lights flicker as you enter, your legs begin to tremble in fear and your stomach begins to stir. The description of the living room is “Quaint and rather cozy. A really nice place to relax except for the murderous doll. You can see the kitchen to the east. You try to remember the living room furniture setup to furnish your place. A cellphone, bulletproof vest and a deer mask are placed on a coffee table.†The bulletproof vest is in the living room. The bulletproof vest is wearable. The description of the bulletproof vest is “Strong but heavy, it may help but with your crippling weakness it may be very exhausting over time. The bright orange vest actually begins to hurt your eyes. You hear something metal banging inside one of the pockets. Bullets…†Instead of burning the bulletproof vest: say "You are freezing and begin to look for flammable materials to make a fire. The vest is thick and would last a while in a fire wouldn't it? You begin to light it up and start to make the fire larger. You forget one detail. There were bullets in the vest. You just happen to be so lucky to be on the receiving end of some shrapnel from the bullets."; end the game in death. Understand "vest" as bulletproof vest. Every turn when the location is the shooting range: If the player does not wear bulletproof vest: End the game saying “Bullets penetrate your body and you fall to the ground slowly with blood everywhere. If only something could have protected you.†There is a doll in the living room. The description of the doll is “You lean over and inspect the fuzzy doll. You hold it in your hands. It shrieks and shakes violently. You drop it on the floor.†There is a coffee table in the living room. The coffee table is edible. The description of the coffee table is "The coffee table is beautifully crafted. Fine craftsmanship and beautifully cut edges. The house's decor is actually very nice and this table is no exception. You rub your hand on the table and feel the smoothness while also wondering why there is no dust on this but on everything else. You smell it... you smell it again... it's laced... with... Caramel?" After eating the coffee table, say “I don’t know what is weirder, the fact that I ate a table or the fact the table is edible. You feel something rough and sharp under the table while eating caramel. What could it be?†Instead of turning coffee table: say "Chucky grabs your hand and drags you under the table. You scream in fear and attempt to wrestle your way out but it's no hope. In your last moments you think to yourself, why did I eat the top of the table?"; end the game in death. There is a deer mask in the living room. The deer mask is wearable. The description of the deer mask is “Incredibly realistic. You can see each and every hair follicle and the skin feels so real. You analyze it closer before you begin to realize, IT'S CHOCOLATE." Instead of eating deer mask: say "Although a tad expired, it still tastes fantastic. The chocolate is exhilarating and the hair is made of pure cocoa. You still feel the cocoa in your mouth after minutes of eating it. You feel energized and you feel ready to conquer the day. Until you hear a child's laugh behind you...." Instead of wearing deer mask: say “You put the mask on. Smells like crap but still really cool. In a split second, you hear the window shatter. BAM, a bullet to your head. The blood gushes out onto the mask and the chocolate is ruined. Someone yells - LOOK AT THE BUCK I BAGGED.â€; end the game in death. There is a cellphone in the living room. The description of the cellphone is “Heavy and stone cold. The metal shell looks well maintained other than the layer of dust over it. The phone seems to be fully charged. It even has service!?!? The old flip phone reminds you of your first phone you got and texting your friends over who you like. Then...The phone starts ringing...Do you listen?†Instead of opening the cellphone: say “You scroll through the pictures to see if any images of Chucky’s bare face are on it. The very last photo in the camera roll is… of you and your family…The phone receives another call.†Instead of listening to cellphone: say “You hear a child’s voice mixed with a dark, disturbing voice. The noise gets louder and louder and almost like if he gets closer. You begin to hear heavy breathing almost similar to yours. The sound quality is almost life like. You then hear a whisper in your other ear - Goodbye.â€; end the game in death. Kitchen is a room. Kitchen is east of the Living Room. The Garden is south of the kitchen. The Shooting Range is north of the north door. The north door is north of the Kitchen and south of the Shooting range. The north door is a fixed in place closed openable unlocked door. Shooting range is a room. The description of the shooting range is “You feel a sharp pain but no blood can be found. You are dazed and confused but when you look at your vest, a bullet is wedged inside. Besides that, the land here is as flat as a pancake. You can see the horizons until the cornfields. BANG, another shot fired. This time a couple feet away from you. You need cover fast." Garden is a room. The description of the Kitchen is "Looks more like a torture chamber than a kitchen. You see two archways: one to the south and one to the north. You see the lightning strike and a shadow appears behind the south door. Could it be Chucky or another trapped inmate?" There is a note in the kitchen. The note is fixed in place. The description of the note is “HELP, I’m in the garden with all the information needed to get out and get to safety. HURRY, he’s about to get me. Sincerely, Roman Castevet." There is a black sign in the kitchen. The black sign is fixed in place. The description of the black sign is "Behind You." Every turn: if player is in a room (called Kitchen): move Chucky to Garden. Instead of going south while in Kitchen: say "You can't recognize if it's a man. You decide to slowly walk toward the man to investigate. You feel someone tap you on the shoulder, you look back nothing there, you shudder in fear. As you turn back in the direction of the man, he disappears. You feel a droplets of a thick, warm substance. You look up. It's Chucky drooling over his meal."; end the game in death. Instead of going to Garden while in Kitchen: say "You can't recognize if it's a man. You decide to slowly walk toward the man to investigate. You feel someone tap you on the shoulder, you look back nothing there, you shudder in fear. As you turn back in the direction of the man, he disappears. You feel a droplets of a thick, warm substance. You look up. It's Chucky drooling over his meal."; end the game in death. Bedroom is a room. Bedroom is west of living room. The description of the Bedroom is “Ugh, the floor is covered in a layer of dust, bugs crawl everywhere and bones lie on the bed. The smell is putrid, maybe this is where Chucky leaves his remains. The bedding looks familiar as does a jacket lying on the bed. The lightning strikes and is followed up shortly by the loud whip of thunder. Zeus must be angry today.†There is a white sign in the bedroom. The white sign is fixed in place. The description of the white sign is “Three hours left. Time flies when you are about to die.†There is a yellow note in the bedroom. The description of the yellow note is “Barely legible, appears to be have written in a hurry. Are those blood stains? RUN, AND DON’T LOOK BACK. GO TO THE SHOOTING RANGE AND YOU WILL FIND A WAY OUT…...1977. REMEMBER THAT. Sincerely, Norman Bates." There is a jacket in the bedroom. The jacket is wearable. The description of the jacket is "A beat up jacket can be seen in the bedroom. Not only is it filled with holes, it has a bunch of stains. You inspect it even further. You notice you had a jacket just like this when you were young except it was in better condition. You look at the tag and then take a step back... It has your name there..." Cornfield is a room. Cornfield is north of the shooting range. The description of the cornfield is “Well isn’t this cliche. It is raining hard and you begin to shiver. You can’t see above the 7 feet tall plants. The soil is puddled and you skid deep into the mud in almost every step you take. The wind is howling and your ears are ringing. You look up and see nothing but birds circling you.†A person called Peter is in the cornfield. The description of Peter is “A huge man facing away from you. You can’t see his face but you notice he is extremely muscular. He has a glow as if he was sent from heaven to come help you get out but what if it is Chucky? Well screw it, just ask him about the exit.†Instead of asking Peter about “exitâ€: say “WHAT DID YOU ASK ME? Where to go? Sure no problem! Going east might be helpful as there is a police station there but west leads you straight to town! I know a lot about the area just don’t go south, that creepy guy scares me with his doll parts hanging by him home. I can tell you more about Chucky but I’m sure you don’t want to hear me talk about some conspiracy.†Instead of asking Peter about “Chuckyâ€: say “Legend says he kidnaps people on the hiking trail south of us, he never talks to anyone in town and his house looks like an abandoned hut devastated by fire and war. He eats his victims after time. Dozens have attempted to report missing friends or family members and have all accused Chucky but detectives who go to Chucky’s to investigate never come back, they leave with only a letter of resignation as the only thing they leave behind… Anyways you should be on your way now. Remember, east is the police station and west is the town.†Police Station is a room. Police Station is east of the cornfield. The description of the police station is "You curse yourself when you learn the police station is abandoned. It’s chilling when you head inside, and as expected, there’s no one here. You examine the station and see a fresh box of doughnuts and a coffee still brewing. Huh? It’s only then you notice the carnage of what appears to be two disfigured bodies behind a desk. There’s no mistake… they’re the officers you were looking for. The officers have scratch marks on them as if a kid with sharp nails attacked them. You then notice the most disturbing detail of all...the blood stains are still wet…" There is a blue note in the police station. The description of the blue note is “Peter was pretty helpful wasn’t he? Well I’ll just put him out of his misery. You won’t outsmart me…†There is a box of doughnuts in the police station. The description of the box of doughnuts is "The smell wafts into the air and grabs your attention. Although your parents never made doughnuts, it reminds you of any baking you did growing up. The smells of glazed icing, chocolate and strawberry fillings fill the air. You notice a pungent smell. It's you." Instead of eating the box of doughnuts: say "The box has all your favourite doughnuts and a fresh pot of coffee is brewing. You grab a doughnut and take a huge bite almost eating the doughnut whole. You see an engraving on the doughnut. 44. What could that mean?" Instead of smelling the box of doughnuts: say "C'mon, eat it already. Don't play with your food!!!" Instead of dropping the box of doughnuts: say "You accidentally drop a doughnut on the ground. You don't feel like it is a big deal but you hear something move... Is it Chucky? You look down to see an undead police officer eating the doughnut. How nice. You drop another and another and another before the officer falls back dead." There is a engraved message in the Police Station. The engraved message is fixed in place. The description of the engraved message is “They kept me here because they I thought I was insane. RUN...2021...REMEMBER THAT. Sincerely, Norman.†There is a pistol in the police station. The description of the pistol is “Ah, a Glock-19. A classic. Brings me back to the days of being with my dad in the country shooting tin cans and finishing off the day with burgers, fries and a large root beer float. Those were the days.†Instead of taking the pistol: say “The pistol fires off and goes through a door. You hear a groan in the other room. You put your ear to the door and listen. You hear someone cursing and fiddling with bullets.†The Sheriff’s Door is north of the Police Station and south of the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s door is a closed openable unlocked door. The Sheriff’s Office is a room. Instead of going north while in Police Station: say “You break the door in attempt to tell the sheriff about everything. As you attempt to break the door you feel a gun against your head. The doors then open with Chucky’s face presented in front of you. Good Night. BAMâ€; end the game in death. Instead of going to Sheriff's Office while in Police Station: say “You break the door in attempt to tell the sheriff about everything. Peter's corpse is in the Sheriff's Office. The description of Peter's corpse is "His dead body lays in the middle of the cornfield. His blood seeps into the soil and vultures begin to circle the body. You begin to see maggots and flies on Peter. His flesh begins to smell. You realize you may be next..." After going to Police Station: Now Peter is in the unknown room; Now Peter's corpse is in the cornfield; Continue the action. The Bridge is a room. The bridge is west of the cornfield and east of the Gate #44 and southeast of Gate #32 and northeast of Gate #41. Gate#44 is a room. Gate #44 is west of the bridge and south of Gate #32 and north of Gate #41. Gate #32 is a room. Gate #41 is a room. Gate #41 is south of Gate #44 and southwest of the Bridge. Gate #32 is north of Gate #44 and northwest of the bridge. The description of the Bridge is "The bridge is an old creaky work of art. The planks are filled with moss and the railings are covered in bird poop. There are three gates in front of you. Gate #44 is to your west, Gate #41 is southwest to you and Gate #32 is northwest of you. Only one leads to town. ***CREAKKK*** You hear bustling behind you. Is it Chucky?" There is Chalk Message in the bridge. The chalk message is fixed in place. The description of the chalk message is "X-Y=the gate you open. X>Y. THE NUMBERS. QUICKLY. HE'S COMING. Signed, NB." Instead of going to Gate #44 while in bridge: say "The Gate opens into the town. You see birds chirping gracefully, people having friendly conversations, dogs doing their business by bright red fire hydrants and the FOOD. You rush to A&W and get a burger, fries and a root beer float like when you were a child. You are safe but, Chucky can return..."; end the game in victory. Instead of going west while in bridge: say "The gate opens into the town. You see birds chirping gracefully, people having friendly conversations, dogs doing their business by bright red fire hydrants and the FOOD. You rush to A&W and get a burger, fries and a root beer float like when you were a child. You are safe but, Chucky can return..."; end the game in victory. Instead of going southwest while in the bridge: say "The gate collapses before you can even turn the open it up. The dust fills up the air and you begin to cough violently. You decide to investigate further into the dark path before stumbling on the uneven cobblestone pathway. You take time to realize that your city doesn't have cobblestone pathways and realize your mistake. You look up to see Chucky chuckling. You went back to his house.."; end the game in death. Instead of going to Gate #41 while in the bridge: say "The gate collapses before you can even turn the open it up. The dust fills up the air and you begin to cough violently. You decide to investigate further into the dark path before stumbling on the uneven cobblestone pathway. You take time to realize that your city doesn't have cobblestone pathways and realize your mistake. You look up to see Chucky chuckling. You went back to his house.."; end the game in death. Instead of going to Gate #32 while in bridge: say "The door squeaks very loudly but something down the road is even louder. You take a couple steps before the Gate shuts. You hear the pattering of a mouse and feel it on your shoe. In repugnance, you kick it off your shoe. The mouse squeals and hits a rock before dying. You continue your journey on the road until you turn around and see thousands of mice behind you. You run in the other direction but bump into Chucky and stumble. Chucky whispers - Not in my House."; end the game in death.
