"Minecraft Survival" by Kathryn Robinson

The Forest is a room. "You find yourself in a Minecraft forest. To the East you can see a beach. To the West, North, and South the forest continues, however the forest is to dense in the West and South."

The description of the player is "You are Steve."

The block giving rule is not listed in the check giving it to rules.

East of Forest is The Beach. The Beach is a room. "You are at a small beach where you have a better view of the forest." Here is a chest. Chest is a fixed in place closed openable container.  Inside the chest is a sword. "There is a chest sitting in the center." After taking sword:
say "You take a wooden sword.  Night falls.  Creepers surround you and your wooden sword.  All the creepers explode.";
end the game in death.

North of the Forest is the Woods. The Woods is a room. "You continue on into the forest and see it get rockier to the north with a clearer path to the Northeast."

Northeast of the woods is the Path. The Path is a room. "This path seems to lead somewhere." Here is a sign. Sign is fixed in place."Looks like that sign might be helpful. Should you go as far as to examine it? I think you should." The description of the sign is " It reads: Don't go east from the forest and open the chest.  Try going southwest, and then go west. -The Oddly Specific Sign Painter."

Northwest of the path is Forest Shack. Forest shack is a room. A man called Vladimir is here. Vladimir can be calm, impatient, or forgetful. Vladimir is calm. "The player stands in front of you.  You should go back the way you came." The description of Vladimir is "A random player that looks like a chicken in a suit."

West of the Woods is the Evergreens. Evergreens is a room. "Lots of huge evergreens surround you.  You think you should try north or south."  Instead of going north while in evergreens: say "You stumble through the brush onto a zombie pigman encampment. They are starving, so they eat you alive."; end the game in death. Instead of going west while in evergreens: say "You wander around for a few days, completely lost with no food or water.  After four days, you die from thirst."; end the game in death.

South of the evergreens is the Pond. Pond is a room. "There is a medium sized pond here.  You think this time you should go east or west." Instead of going west while in pond: say "You stumble across some players who have survived this game.  They have diamond armor and swords.  Thinking you are trying to steal their stuff, they kill you."; end the game in death. Instead of going south while in pond: say "You fall into a portal to The End.  There, the Ender Men and the Ender Dragon kill you before you can even move."; end the game in death.

East of the pond is the Mangroves. Mangroves is a room. In the mangroves is red chest, blue chest, and yellow chest. The red chest is a fixed in place closed openable container. The blue chest is a fixed in place closed openable container. The yellow chest is a fixed in place closed openable container. Inside the blue chest is bread.  Instead of opening red chest: say "You open the red chest and find baby creepers trapped inside.  A two adult creepers run over to you.  They blow up, thinking you trapped their babies."; end the game in death. Instead of opening the yellow chest: say "You opened the chest and being the klutz you are you fall in.  The lid closes and locks.  You die from hyper-ventilating."; end the game in death. "Finally, you reach the mangroves. There are three chests sitting in the middle of the field. A red one, a blue one, and a yellow one.  Now, try going either west or north."

West of the Mangroves is The Tower.  The Tower is a room.  A man called The Wizard is here.  "Hello, I am the wizard.  So, you have made it this far, huh?  Well, go east back to the mangroves.  Then, go north.  Lastly, pull the lever.  Only follow these instructions.  Now, go!"  The description of The Wizard is "The smart-aleck teenager who made this game.  Now go back to playing the game!"

North of the Mangroves is the Mountain Side. Mountain Side is a room. "You come to the mouth of a cave nestled into the mountain side. You can continue going North to go inside, or you can turn around now and save yourself some trouble..."

North of the mountain side is cave. Cave is a room. "You are inside the cave where a message is scrawled on the wall. You should check it out."

Inside the cave is the wall. The description of the wall is "It reads: Didn't I tell you to only follow my instructions?  Or have you not gone west from the mangroves?"

The lever is in the cave. The lever is fixed in place.

Instead of pulling lever: say "Congratulations!  You did it!  You actually followed my instructions and (hopefully) haven't died along the way.  You have won a new emerald house.  Also, here is some diamond armor.  Good job!"; end the game in victory.
