Use no scoring. Deciphering is a scene. Deciphering begins when play begins. Deciphering ends when the Paper is seen. Circuit is a scene. Circuit begins when Deciphering ends. Circuit ends when the Circuit Book is seen. Parts begins when Circuit ends. Parts is a scene. Abouting is an action applying to nothing. Understand "about" or "help" as Abouting. Instead of Abouting, say "This is going to be the first game I've finished. There will be other episodes to this series, and should have new ones about once a month or so." A thing can be seen or unseen. A thing is usually unseen. Carry out examining: now the noun is seen. The Study is a room. "This is your study. Bookshelves line the walls, but your desk is what's important." The Desk is a supporter in the Study. The description of the Desk is "Your trusty fir desk with a drawer." The Bookshelf is a fixed in place container in the Study. The description of the Bookshelf is "These are your bookshelves, filled with books about portals to other worlds, a subject that fascinates you." The Paper are on the Desk. The Books is a thing. The Books are in the Bookshelf. Instead of taking the books during Deciphering, say "You don't need the books yet. You need to decipher the papers." The Paper are a thing. The description of the Paper is "This is the paper you found. The paper seems to be a strange circuit diagram. Strange, it's a couple hundred years old at least..." Instead of taking the books during Circuit: say "You take a book on Circuit Diagrams off the shelf."; now the player is carrying the Circuit Book. The Circuit Book is a thing. The description of the Circuit Book is "This is a book on circuit diagrams. Hmm...It seems you have the parts to build this device on the papers! But where are they?" The Box of Parts is a thing. The description of the Box of Parts is "A box of circuit parts. Now you need to assemble them!" The drawer is part of the Desk. The Drawer is a closed openable container. In the drawer is the Box of Circuit Parts. Assembling is an action applying to one thing. Understand "assemble [thing]" as Assembling. Instead Assembling the Box of Circuit Parts during Parts: say "You put the parts together, and flip the switch. Suddenly, it begins to glow, and your house begins to shake..."; end the game saying "You have finally gotten to another dimension." Instead of assembling the Box of Circuit Parts, say "You do not know how." Instead of burning the desk, say "Hayley, stop being violent. It's impossible." Instead of eating the Paper, say "This is no bad homework!" Instead of entering the desk, say "No buttprints on the desk!"
