 The Alley is a room.  "You wake up in a dark alley. to the north of you is a dim light above a metal door. to the west of you is very dark but you can hear something."

the metal door is a closed locked door.  the purple key unlocks the metal door. 

The metal door is north of the alley.  north of the metal door is a lab.

the metal door is a closed door.

description of metal door is "It's a steel door.  In big red spray-painted letters it says laderfuuugen." 

description of the wooden box is "It's a wooden box with a lid."

a box is in the alley. the box is a container.  

inside the box is a piece of cake and the purple key.

the piece of cake is edible.  the description of the piece of cake is "It looks delicious!"

the chocolate meatball is edible.

the description of chocolate meatball is "its a chocolate covered meatball...who knows what kind of meat it is.  hey! who cares its a fucking game!"

after eating the chocolate meatball: say "crunchy, chewy, juicy protein packed balls of sugar!!!....but you start to choke shortly after realizing you've been eating random crap off of the ground!."; end the game in death.

after eating the piece of cake: say "that was delicious!"

the description of the purple key is "it's purple."

the lab is a room.  "you are in some kind of brightly lit laboratory.  it smells so clean it starts to make your stomach turn.   its so quiet that it hurts your head.  there is a red door to your left, and a green door to your right."

the red door is west of the lab.  the red door is a closed locked door.  the blue key unlocks the red door.

the green door is east of the lab.  the green door is a closed locked door.  the yellow key unlocks the green door. 
 
to the west of the red door is a dark room.  

in the room is a table.

there is a knife on the table.  description of the knife is "this knife looks very old.  It even looks like it was made from some sort of bone."

there is an apple on the table.  description of the apple is "a bright red apple."

apple is edible.  after eating apple: say "the first few crisp bights are so juicy and fresh but about half way through the apple you realize that something is wrong and you black out.  then you wake up in the worst pain imaginable and fade out slowly."; end the game in death.

to the east of the green door is a room.

in the room is a surgical bed covered in a blue liquid.  in the room is a counter.

on the counter is the blue key. 

the description of the surgical bed is "this thing smells worse than the alley you woke up in!  there is a deep blue goo all over the bed.  there are restraints on the sides of the bed.  one looks like it was chewed though.  there is a blue key on the counter next to the bed."

the blue key is an object.

a cardboard box is in the lab.  the cardboard box is a  container.  the cardboard box is open.

inside the cardboard box is the chocolate meatball.  inside the cardboard box is a yellow key. 

description of the cardboard box is "a brightly colored cardboard box with a chocolate meatball inside."
