When Play Begins:
Say "You wake up in a cockpit in a spaceship. You must have passed out during a collision with a meteorite. As you loom around you see s flashing Light overhead reads: [bold type] WARNING! LOW POWER SOURCE! FIND NEW BATTERY! [roman type] You must find the battery to survive."

To say exit list:
	let place be location;
	repeat with way running through directions:
		let place be the room west from the location;
		if place is a room, say " [Cockpit]".

 Use undo prevention.

[Cockpit]
Cockpit is a room. "the cockpit is small and tight. there is an exit door north of you and above you is some sort of dome. maybe you can get out."

Exit door is north of cockpit. Exit door is a closed door.

north of exit door is space room.

top door is a closed door

top door is above cockpit.

dome is a room

dome is above top door

[dome]
"This is a dome showing the stars above. Guess the people who built this wanted you to remember you have a home on earth. that's sweet."

glass hallway is south of dome

"This hallway seems to be made of some sort of really thick bullet proof glass."

food door is a closed door

there is a banana in food closet

banana is edible. The description of the banana is "this is not a bad banana. As you are the stereotypical monkey, You are addicted to bananas."

there is a purple banana in food closet

purple banana is edible. after eating purple banana: say "Why would you eat a purple banana? I mean, why? THAT WAS A [bold type] POISONOUS [roman type] BANANA! well, i guess you are a monkey."; end the game in death.

"This is the food closet. You need food to survive. especially if you are in space."

"The balcony shows the rest of the ship and the beautiful starry space. All you can think to yourself is: 'dang. This ship is big.' "

 Space room is a room. "you can see two doors. the west door says wrench room. the east door says battery supply." 

East door is a closed door. east door is east of space room.

west door is a closed door. west door is west of space room.

north of west door is crossroads.

north of east door is battery room.

[battery room]
battery room is a room. "what the heck!? All the battery's are gone! Someone, Or something, stole them!"

The power battery is in the food closet.

the power battery is an object. The description of the power battery is "WHAT THE HECK IS THE BATTERY HERE FOR! It must have been dragged in by the alien"

Decision path is north of metal door.

metal door is a closed door.

metal door is east of battery room.

Decision path is a room. "As you are walking you encounter a door to your east and a room north, what do you want to do?"

Odd door is a closed door. 

Odd door is east of Decision path.

After opening odd door: say "as you were opening the door you noticed a sign. It reads: [bold type] WARNING! NO AIR LOCK! EMERGENCY DOOR ONLY! [roman type] As you finish reading it you are sucked out into space and [bold type] DIE!"; end the game in death.

Crossroads is a room. "There is a crossroads ahead. West is dark and mysterious and East is what seems to be nice and inviting."

dark closet is west of crossroads.

warning door is east of split paths

The wrench unlocks the warning door. 

hot room is north of warning door.

"it is kinda hot in here. Bit stuffy."

north of hot room is air lock door. 

air lock door is a closed door.

after opening air lock door: say "[bold type] WARNING! ENGINES TOO CLOSE! INTENSE HEAT![roman type] It is too late. You die of intense heat." ; end the game in death.

[dark closet]
dark closet is a room. "it is dark in here. The lights must have shorted out. You feel something under your feet."

Wrench is in the dark closet.

wrench is an object. the description of the wrench is "This is a big wrench. This is a shiny wrench. This is a metal wrench. You like this wrench. it could even be used as a key..."

suit room is northwest of split paths.

suit room is a room.

"this is the suit room. As you can guess, there are astronaut suit there."

The monkey space suit is in the room.

the monkey space suit is an object.

the description of the monkey space suit is "this is a monkey space suit. it does not work however. stupid 'working' space suits."

engine power is north of Decision path

"This is the engine room. just insert the battery and you finally get power to your spaceship and go on on your mission."

battery door is a locked door. Power battery unlocks battery door.

after opening battery door: say "You have opened the door."

winning is a room

the power button is a closed openable container. After opening power button, say; "power is back on. good luck."; end the game in victory.

[ALIEN FIGHTING]

n is a number that varies. n is 3.

An alien is a kind of thing. Understand "Alien" as Alien.

One Alien is in the food closet.

One alien is in storage.

The printed name of an alien is usually "The space alien".

understand "slimy " and "sharp teethed" and "spider like" as Alien.

The initial appearance of an Alien is usually "Oh No! an alien Comes out of Nowhere! It must have came aboard the ship while you were passed out."

The description of an Alien is usually "The alien is slimy and spider like. It must have crawled aboard while you were past out."

Understand "Slapping [something]" and "murder [something]" and "hit [something]" and "punch [something]" and "Kill [something]" and "Destroy [something]" as attacking.

Instead of attacking something:
	say "Really? Why on earth would you attack [the noun]"

Instead of attacking an alien:
	say "It was a brutal fight. But it is dead now. However, you are now covered in alien guts.";
	remove the noun from play.

 Instead of taking an alien, say "EEEEWWW! It is slimy and wants to bite you!"
