"The Surprise in the Turkey" by Richie When play begins: say "[italic type]You're seated at the Thanksgiving Feast table, surrounded on all sides by the laughter and smiles of the pilgrims and native Americans you helped when suddenly something catches your eye...[roman type]" The Thanksgiving Feast is a room. "There seems to be something small just slightly jutting out from the edge of the stuffing in the turkey. Odd... You hate to have to do this, but you feel compelled to open the Turkey." The Turkey is a closed, openable container in the Thanksgiving Feast. The Turkey is scenery. The ticket is in the Turkey. After opening the Turkey: say "You open the Turkey, revealing a ticket. Squanto's face looks puzzled. go on... 'take the ticket.'" After taking the ticket: say "You take the ticket! Cha-Ching!$"; end the story saying "See Richie when we're back in person for the real one. Thanks for your creative thanksgiving adventure you made for the class!!!!!".
