"Spyro the dragon" by Sam & Isaac When play begins: Now the time of day is 11:00 AM; change the right hand status line to "[score] / [time of day]". Your bedroom is a room. "The corridor is south of your bedroom" The maximum score is 10. The description of the player is "You are a small purple dragon" The bed is in your bedroom. The description of the bed is "A cosy circular bed with a purple duvet." The bed is fixed in place. The chest is in your bedroom. The chest is openable. The chest is closed. The chest is fixed in place. The key is in the chest. The description of the key is "A small brown key, which reads: Spyro's room." After examining letter for first time: say "Oh you almost forgot about Hunter. You better get to the harbour quickly." Instead of opening locked wooden door: say "Why on earth did you lock yourself in your room for?" The table is in your bedroom. The letter is on the table. The description of the letter is "A white letter which reads: Happy Birthday Spyro. Your present is on the bookshelf. Don't forget to see me off before I leave. I'll meet you at the harbour. From Hunter" The corridor is a room. "The kitchen is below you " The bookshelf is in the corridor. The description of the bookshelf is "There is a small stone on the shelf" The stone is on the bookshelf. The description of the stone is "WOW Hunter got you a relic. Their the rarest stones ever made. It is a hexagonal stone made in the beggining of the world." Understand "relic" as stone. The wooden door is south of your bedroom and north of the corridor. The wooden door is a door. The door is lockable and locked. The matching key of the wooden door is the key. The kitchen is a room. "The corridor is above you and there is a door to the south east. The door is standing ajar as if someone is in a rush. That will be Hunter." The kitchen is below the corridor. Flame the dragon is a man in the kitchen. The front door is a door. It is southeast from the kitchen and northwest from the beach. It is open. The beach is a room. "The front door is northwest.The mountains are to the north and the harbour is to the east. There are footprints towards the east" The harbour is a room. It is east of the beach. Hunter is a man in the harbour. Instead of asking Hunter about anything: say "Spyro, I knew you would come! Did you like your present? I knew you would. Anyway I should be leaving. See you next year! says Hunter. He climbs into the boat and sails away to the east.You suddenly feel hungry. Maybe Flame has made you some breakfast"; now Hunter is in the island; increase score by 1. Instead of going east from the harbour: say "You cant just swim over the open ocean!" The mountains is a room. It is north of the beach. "The beach is to the south and the temple is to the northwest." The island is a room. It is east of the harbour. "There is a big party and a banner bearing the words Happy Birthday Spyro is spread between two palm trees". Bacon is edible. Understand "Breakfast" and "Food" as Bacon. Instead of asking Flame about anything: say "I would be able to make you breakfast, but I've got a terrible cold. I need something to help me get my fire breath back. says Flame"; The jalapeno is edible. Instead of eating jalapeno: say "Thats way too spicy for you." The wooden chest is in the mountains. It is a closed openable container. The jalapeno is inside the wooden chest. The wooden chest is fixed in place. Instead of giving jalapeno to Flame: say "Thank you Spyro that really was hot. Here you go some nice crispy bacon. I hear that your learning magical powers at the temple today. Good Luck. Says Flame"; now player is carrying bacon; now flame is carrying jalapeno; increase score by 1. After eating Bacon: say "The rumbling in your belly stops as you eat the bacon. Yum."; increase score by one. The temple is a room."The mountains are to the south east" The temple is northwest of the mountains. Elder Thomas is a man in the temple. Instead of asking elder thomas about anything: say "Spyro you're here. I'm afraid the Sensei and Elder Titan have been kidnapped. I need you to save them. I am going to teach you how to teleport. Just touch this magical book and it should take will take you to them. says Thomas." The book of teleportation is in the temple. "A heavy leather book. The words 'Incantations for Teleportation' are written on the front. The lettering glows faintly." The cave is a room. It is north of the mountains. "There is a door to the northwest and the mountains are to the south." Instead of touching the book: say "You are transported to the Cave."; now the player is in the cave. Instead of going north from the mountains: say "A big cliff stands in your way with no visible way up it." The stone door is a door. It is northwest from the cave. The stone door is lockable and locked. The matching key of the stone door is the stone. The description of the stone door is "A stone door barely visible in this cave with a hexagonal keyhole.". The field is a room. It is northwest of the stone door. "The grass is very short and blackened probably from a fire.There is a dark castle to the north" The altar is in the field. The description of the altar is "A dark statue of a minotaur" The helmet is on the altar. The description of the helmet is "A Dark bronze helmet with curly horns." Instead of wearing helmet: end the game saying "You place the helmet on your head and realise it is a helmet of dark magic. You will slowly turn against your friends until darkness consumes you.". After waiting for five turns: say "A big dark shadow appears in the sky stretching as far as the eye can see. Suddenly monsters appear everywhere and surround you. They advance on you. The shadow world has come."; End the game in death. The monster is an animal in the cave. The grapple hook is in the cave. Instead of attacking monster: say "You breathe your deadly fire breath on your foe and he drops a grapple hook which you quickly collect"; Remove monster from play; Now player has grapple hook; Increase score by two. Instead of taking grapple hook: say "The monster grunts at you and you decide not to risk it". The castle is north of the field. "You can see Elder Titan through the trapdoor below you.". The dungeon is below the trapdoor. Elder Titan is a man in the dungeon. Sensei is a man in the dungeon. The trapdoor is a door. The castle is above the trapdoor. The fountain is in the castle. Water is in the fountain. Instead of drinking the water: say "As you drink the water you start to feel queasy and suddenly you realise the water was poisoned."; End the game in death. Instead of opening the trapdoor: say "You heave with all your might and the trapdoor opens. You descend into the dungeon where Titan and Sensei are trapped."; now the player is in the dungeon; now the trapdoor is open. Instead of going up from the dungeon: now the player is in the castle. Instead of asking sensei about anything: say "I have lost my grapple hook. I think i dropped it when these monsters caught me. Could you find it for me. Says Sensei." Instead of giving grapple hook to Sensei: say "Thank you Spyro. I believe there is a party on the island. I hope you can make it. Says Sensei. Suddenly you are teleported to the island"; Now Titan is in the island; Now Thomas is in the island; Now Sensei is in the island; Now Flame is in the island; Now player is in the island; Increase score by 5; End the game in victory.
