"Soul Wanderer" Use no scoring. The Garden is north of the House. "[if the Garden is unvisited] You awaken to find that you are surrounded by willow whisp trees, green grass lays beneath you still laced with fresh morning dew and a storm is brewing just south of where you lay. You look around dazed and discover that you are in a fenced in area and a modern looking one story house lies just to the south of you. You faintly remember that you are looking for something or someone but you can't recall exactly who or what. You force yourself to your feet and begin your search for clues in hopes of jogging your memory. (Instructions: This is the opening text, it will explain what's going on. To start playing the game, click on the > and type in 'go south ', 'south', or 's' to head south into the next room. Once you've typed it, go ahead and hit the enter key.) [end if][if the Garden is visited]You are in the Garden. The House is to the south.[end if]" The House is south of the Garden. "[if the House is unvisited] You are in the house. The first thing that you notice is that you are in an extremely dark hallway. One lone light bulb hangs in the center of the hallway, pulsing nervously. With each pulse you can faintly make out some shapes in the poorly lit hallway, the fact that the bulb is a fluorescent bulb isn't much help. Two pulses in you make out the shape of two sets of double doors. The doors have quite a bit of wear and tear on them but nonetheless the wood is stained and painted to perfection, in spite of yourself you admire the doors. Where do they lead to? Your curiosity ends up getting the best of you and you decide to go into one of the doors. (Instructions: click > and type go east and press enter to go into the first door or click > and type go west and press enter to go into the second door) [end if][if the House is visited]You are in the House. The Garden is to the north. The first door is to the east. The second door is to the west.[end if]" Door1 is east of the House. "[if Door1 is unvisited] You have chosen the first door, good choice. When you step through the threshold of the first door the first thing that you notice is that you are surrounded by juniper trees. The sky above you begins to fade from a bright vibrant blue to a deep scarlet red as if it has begun to stain with blood. The juniper trees surrounding you begin to darken as well, they fade from shades of a brilliant radiant green to flaming shades of vermilion, red, brown, yellow and gold. The leaves begin to litter the ground in choking streams the wind blowing them off the trees in an envious rage as the ground beneath your feet begins to freeze, clearly visible to you as icicles gather around your feet. The forest of now dead trees parts ahead of you, unsheathing a gravel path hidden in shadows among the blood red sky. You hear a howl in the distance as the wintry subzero air nips at your goose bump bitten skin. Do you continue on down the path or venture back into the summery warm house for shelter and safety and try the second door? (Instructions: click > and type go west and press enter to go back into the house or click > and type go east and press enter to continue on down the path) [end if][if Door1 is visited]You have chosen the first door. Go back to the house and try the first door. (Instructions: click > and type go east and press enter to go back into the house)" Path is east of Door1. "[if Path is unvisited] You have bravely chosen to test your luck and venture down the dark path. After walking for several miles you find yourself in complete darkness, you don't know whether the dark is playing tricks on you or someone or something is watching you, you begin to feel a deep fear sink into your veins, something is terribly wrong here. The darkness seems to move around you, forming shapes, clawing out at your skin, threatening to pull you into it when suddenly a pair of bright blazing blue eyes appears out of the sea of black. You don't know what to think, could this be an enemy? The pair of eyes begins to draw nearer to you until suddenly the wearer of the eyes makes himself known. A boy now stands before you. The boy has thick lush silvery hair, his bangs up-swept to frame his heart shaped face, his baby blues blaze with anger at the sight of you. The combination of his blazing eyes and winter colored hair only makes his pale complexion more apparent. He is dressed in all black, chains cling about his body as well as an abundance of weapons and knives, his silvery locks are messy and sticking out all over as if he has just emerged from a war zone. He towers over you about a decent three feet and upon closer inspection you find that his ears are pointed, much like an elves ears. A single black ear ring dangles from his left ear and when he opens his mouth to speak you see that his teeth much like his ears are pointed. 'I told you to stay back in the garden Sabre how dare you disobey me! The enemy could have found you out here, your brother would have my head if anything happened to you! Quickly, follow me, we must hurry before they find us.' You try to tell the boy that you can't recall who he is or what he's talking about before he knocks your feet from out under you causing you to go cascading to the ground just as an explosion sounds in the west. After several terror filled moments the boy drags you to your feet pulling you alongside him as he rips open what appears to be a doorway hidden in the center of one of the juniper trees. You have no time to protest before the boy shoves you into the doorway and once again you are plunged into darkness. (Go south)[end if][if Path is visited] You are on the path. The door to the house is east of the path. The tree is south of the path.[end if]" The Tree is south of the Path. "[if Tree is unvisited] Once the darkness clears you soon discover that you have found yourself inside of a small room. A lone door sits on the wall opposing where you stand, looking above you, you see a small opening in which a latter hangs, cutting off shortly before it reaches the ground. The room itself seems to be composed of an adobe like material and what small amounts of furniture litter the room are mahogany themselves. A small writing desk sits in one corner of the room and a poorly made cot sits in the other, men's clothing seems to litter the floor as far as the eye can see and small lanterns hang about the walls their flickering flames providing what little light the room has. It isn't long before you hear a loud noise behind you and turn to see that the silvery haired boy from before now stands behind you, his blue eyes scanning your face like a fox. He reaches into what appears to be a hidden pocket in his shirt and you retreat to the farthest corner of the room as he does so, suspecting that he's going to pull out a gun. You're faintly surprised however when he does not, instead you find that he has pulled out a small teal box like container and now extends his arm out to you motioning for you to take the box. The box is a closed, openable container that is smooth to the touch. The wintry haired boy seems to have a twinkle in his eye as he watches you examine the box. Suddenly, he points to the door on the wall opposing the two of you with a stern expression on his face as he opens his mouth to speak; 'That door will lead you south to your brother Anaya, follow it but beware of the monsters and evil forces that lay ahead. I wish you the best of luck and as for the box, you'll know when it's time to open it.'[end if][if the Tree is visited] You have entered the tree, the path is to the north and the battle ground is to the south. (Click the > and type go south then press enter to go through the door)[end if][if Tree is visited] You have entered the tree, the path is to the north and the battleground is to the south.[end if]" The Battleground is south of the Tree."[if Battleground is unvisited] After taking the small box from the silvery haired boy you jog through the door and yet nothing could have prepared you for what you see on the other side: The terrain is soft, mud like but the mud itself seems to be littered with masses of bodies battling against one another. Strange mythical creatures run in and out of your field of vision, some of these figures possess pointed ears and spiked teeth like the silvery haired boy from before with weird animal like features, some going as far to even have tails and hooves, while the others have glowing red eyes and strange horns and wings protrude from their bodies. One of the elf like creatures points its hands at one of the demon like creatures as bright blue sparks begin to rise from the elf like creatures hands before striking out and colliding with the demon creatures body causing his body to go crumpling to the ground. Fear fills your body as your hands begin to shake nervously until you remember the box, the silvery haired boy said that you would know when to use it, he must have meant now: You greedily open the box, hoping for some sort of instrument to help you survive this mess alive and are pleasantly surprised to find three small objects inside of the box. One of the objects is a small pouch, inside the pouch is an abundance of blue powder which appears to be the same cobalt color as the sparks that had previously shot from that one elves hands. The second object that you see appears to be a small knife. The third object is a bronze skeleton key. Distracted by looking at the objects in the box you fail to notice the demon rushing toward you and are suddenly pushed violently causing you to fall into a hole in the ground. (Go west)[end if][if Battleground is visited] You have entered the battleground, watch your step and be safe. The tree is to the north of the battle ground." Battleground2 is west of Battleground. [if Battleground2 is unvisited] "You have found yourself inside of a small tunnel, walking further into the tunnel you discover another small teal box, but it appears to be locked. Try using the key from the previous box to to unlock this box. (Click > and type down and then press enter to bend down and unlock the box)[if Battleground2 is visited] You have entered the tunnel. East of the tunnel is the battleground.[end if]" The Box is down from Battleground2. "[if Box is unvisited] Inside the box you find three other small objects, a large card with numbers scrawled across it, a heavy golden padlock and a piece of paper with what appears to be a spell scrawled in latin.(After discovering the boxes treasures continue on north)[end if][if Box is visited] You seem to have stumbled across and empty box. North from this box is the dungeon door. Above this box is the battleground, (Click > and type up to return to the battleground)[end if]" The Dungeondoor is north from Box. "[if Dungeondoor is unvisited] Continuing on down the path you have stumbled upon a large wooden door, although the door appears to be locked, try swiping the card. (click the > and type up to jump and reach the doors scanner and scan the card)[end if][if Dungeondoor is visited] You seem to have stumbled upon a doorway. (Click the > and type up to scan the card you have in your inventory and continue on to the next obstacle or click > and type north to return to the tunnel)[end if]" The Dungeon is above the Dungeondoor. "[if Dungeon is unvisited] You have finally reached your destination, congratulations! Sunshine streams into the room through giant cracks in the concrete walls, the room has a castle like interior and a gaping sink hole seems to be consuming the room piece by piece as you enter. A bright light emerges from the top of the sink hole and as you look up to inspect what the cause of this light is you see your brother Anaya at the top at least 200 feet above you, peering down into the sink hole you see only darkness but around the edges of the hole is what appears to be an encryption in latin or a spell of some sort. You reach into your inventory suddenly remembering the spell you collected from the box and pull it out beginning to chant what is written on the paper to the best of your abilities. The sink hole slowly begins to close, a dark leather bound book arising out of it as it does so. Quickly you run over to the book, slamming it closed as the floor begins to turn to a liquid like substance at your very feet, your feet seem to be sinking into the floor, your body becoming one with the room as you rush to close the book, padlocking it shut with panic and fear coursing through your veins. Just as your torso is about to be consumed by the monstrous floor you retrieve the knife from your inventory and stab the leather bound book right in the center. A black blood like substance begins to seep from the book as a blood curdling scream echoes throughout the room, bouncing off the walls, the book itself seems to be dying. The floor begins to release its hold on you as more and more black liquid seeps from the book, your brother Anaya seems to slowly be descending to the ground as you try to free yourself. Just as you get your body free and the floor begins to become solid again your brother's body settles down at your side and he begins to awaken.[end if]" Every turn: if the player is in Dungeon: say "You have saved your brother as well as the world, back on the battlefield the demon army begins to disintegrate and fall to dust banished back to the underworld, green grass grows where their ashes lay, congratulations. The world is safe for another day thanks to it's savior Sabre."; end the game in victory.
