"Baby Troubles" When play begins: say "You open your eyes. As you look around, you try to figure out where you are." The Bedroom is a room. "You find yourself in your bedroom. It is brightly decorated with a light purple wallpaper and shiny star decorations hanging from the ceiling. There is a crib with a pillow and blankets inside. There is a table. The bathroom is East from here. The living room is North from here." The crib is here. The description of the crib is "It is a beautiful wooden crib with a pillow and blankets in it." The crib is scenery. The blankets are in the crib. The blankets are scenery. The description of the blankets is "The blankets are soft, fluffy, and light purple." The pillow are here. Pillow are scenery. The description of the pillow is "The pillow is big, fuzzy, and white." The table is here. The table is scenery. The description of the table is "It is an exquisitely crafted wooden table. There is a lamp on it". The lamp is on the table. The description of the lamp is "It is an ordinary lamp. It is on top of the table, out of reach. Careful! It looks fragile." Before taking the lamp: instead say "The lamp is out of reach." The Bathroom is a room. "You are in the bathroom. It is a relatively clean bathroom, with shiny, white marble flooring. The bedroom is West from here." The bathroom door is a closed door. The bathroom door is east of the Bedroom and west of The Bathroom. The toilet, sink, and bathtub is here. The toilet is scenery. The sink is scenery. The description of toilet is "It is a nice, clean toilet. It looks like something you would need assistance with using..." The description of the sink is "You can only see the pipes underneath the sink as it is too high up to use..." The knob is a device in the bathtub. The knob is fixed in place. The knob is switched off. Carry out switching on the knob: say "You turned the knob on. Water starts flowing into the bathtub." Carry out switching off the knob: say "You turned the knob off. The water in the bathtub is drained completely and there is no more water left." The Living Room is a room. "You are in the living room. It is huge, with clutters of toys and spilled food (this is probably your fault). Your bedroom is South from here. The conference room is West from here. The kitchen is East from here. The front door of the house is North from here." The living room door is a closed locked door. The living room door is north of the Bedroom and south of the Living Room. Mom is a person. "Mom stares at you lovingly, but also exhaustively as she's been cleaning the mess you've made earlier." Mom is here. Instead of asking Mom about "Yum Yums": say "You slowly and carefully say 'Yum Yums'. Your mother is AMAZED that you said Yum Yums, as these are your first words! With joy, she goes into the conference room and tells 'her lazy husband' to wake up. She then fills him in on what happens. He says 'Wow thats awesome! He probably wants some Yum Yums'. Your father then takes you to the Kitchen, reaches into the fridge and feeds you the Yum Yums! Ahh delicious!! Congrats you survived 'Baby Troubles'!"; end the story. The ball is in the bedroom. The description of the ball is "It is a round, rubbery, and red ball that look likes it fits perfectly in your hand. It looks fun to play with and throw around!". Before throwing the ball at the living room door: instead say "The ball hits the door with a small thump. The noise is not loud enough for your parents to hear." Before throwing the ball at the bathroom door: instead say "The ball hits the door with a small thump. The noise is not loud enough for your parents to hear." Instead of throwing the ball at the lamp: say "You throw the ball at the lamp. The impact of the ball immediately SHATTERS the lamp! There is a loud noise and you start to cry as you are very frightened. Your parents unlock the living room door and come rushing in to see what happened. They clean up the mess and take the ball away so you can't break anything else. Then they both leave."; remove the lamp from play; remove the ball from play; now the living room door is unlocked. Instead of going to the Conference Room: say "You try to open the door to the conference room but it is locked. The door has a transparent glass window and you see your father sitting in a large black rolling chair behind the table. On the table is what looks to be his laptop and a lot of paperwork. You start to hear a snoring noise. You realize your father isn't working but instead sleeping!" The Kitchen is a room. "You are in the kitchen. There is all the usual kitchen equipment (stove, oven, microwave, fridge) and a lot of cabinets. The kitchen counter has a basket with different fruits in it." The kitchen door is a closed door. The kitchen door is east of the Living Room and west of the Kitchen. The stove is in the Kitchen. The stove is scenery. The description of the stove is "It is a normal stove. This looks too dangerous to use on your own." The oven is in the Kitchen. The oven is scenery. The description of the oven is "It is a normal oven. This looks too dangerous to use on your own." The microwave is in the Kitchen. The microwave is scenery. The description of the microwave is "It is a normal microwave. This looks too dangerous to use on your own." The counter is in the Kitchen. The basket is on the counter. The description of the basket is "It is a basket filled with a plethora of delicious and exotic fruit!" Instead of taking the basket: say "The basket is on top of the counter and out of reach." The fridge is in the Kitchen. The fridge is openable. The fridge is closed. The description of the fridge is "It is an ordinary fridge. Maybe there are fun, yummy surprises inside...?" Yum Yums is in the fridge. Yum Yums is edible. Instead of taking the Yums Yums: say "Oh no! You try to reach for the Yum Yums but you cannot reach them..." The Conference Room is a room. "You are in the conference room". The conference room door is a closed locked door. The conference room door is west of the Living Room and east of the Conference Room.
