Getting Started is a room.

Gender is a kind of value. The genders are masculine, feminine, and unknown. Understand "male" or "man" or "M" as masculine. 

Understand "female" or "woman" or "F" as feminine.

A person has a gender. The gender of the player is unknown.

When play begins: 
	now the command prompt is "Please choose a gender for your character. >".

After reading a command when the gender and sexuality of the player is unknown: 
	if the player's command includes "[gender]": 
		now the gender of the player is the gender understood; 
		if the gender of the player is masculine, now the player is male; 
		if the gender of the player is feminine, now the player is female; 
		say "[line break]Thank you. Moving on..."; 
		now the command prompt is ">"; 
		move the player to Next Step; 
		reject the player's command; 
	otherwise: 
		say "Sorry, we're not ready to go on yet -- please pick a gender to begin. >"; 
		reject the player's command.

Next Step is a room.

Sexuality is a kind of value. The sexualities are heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, and unknown. Understand "straight" or "hetero" as heterosexual. 

Understand "gay" or "homo" as homosexual. 

Understand "bi" as bisexual.

A person has a sexuality. The sexuality of the player is unknown.

When the player enters Next Step: 
	now the command prompt is "Please choose a sexuality for your character. >".

After reading a command when the sexuality of the player is unknown: 
	if the player's command includes "[sexuality]": 
		now the sexuality of the player is the sexuality understood; 
		if the sexuality of the player is heterosexual, now the player is straight; 
		if the sexuality of the player is homosexual, now the player is gay; 
		if the sexuality of the player is bisexual, the player is now bi;
		say "[line break]Thank you. Now your adventure can begin!; 
		now the command prompt is ">"; 
		move the player to Professor's Lab; 
		reject the player's command; 
	otherwise: 
		say "Sorry, we're not ready to go on yet -- please pick a sexuality to begin. >"; 
		reject the player's command.


Professor's Lab is a room. There is a table in the professor's lab. The table is fixed in place. The drawer is a closed openable container. The drawer is part of the table. Inside the drawer is a pokeball. 

The description for the table is "A table with a single drawer. The professor said to look inside it."

A Pokemon is a kind of person.

Bulbasaur is a person in the Professor's lab. Bulbasaur is a pokemon. Charmander is a person in the professor's lab. Charmander is a pokemon. Squirtle is a person in the professor's lab. Squirtle is a pokemon.
 
A Pokeball is a container. Pokemon can be stored inside pokeballs.
