Set into its side is a control panel." The quantum qube is a closed, openable container. The description of the quantum qube is "A small, prismatic shimmer; nothing more." The control panel is part of the black box. The description of the control panel is "Various controls are visible, including a thumb pad, a lens, a microphone, and a keypad. A small red light blinks in the corner, which strikes you as a discouraging sign."
