The Main Hall is a room. "You have been hired to steal a priceless Egyptian artifact from a museum's new exhibit. You are studying and gathering information about the museum during the day, and breaking in and stealing the statue during the night. Good luck! You are in a giant room where all the exhibits meet. Northwest is the Chinese exhibit, northeast is the Prehistoric exhibit, southwest is the European exhibit, and southeast is the new Egyptian exhibit. To the east, you see an unmarked door. There is a Grand Door to the south that will lead you out of the museum. (To check what you have, type inventory)" The Entrance is a room. It is south of the Main Hall. "Trees and Bushes surround you and the grand flight of stairs that leads up towards the museum's entrance. You have to wait for the perfect time to strike." Instead of the player waiting in the entrance, say "You are at the back entrance of the museum. As nighttime approaches, the lights from the windows start to turn off one by one. Darkness fills the area, giving you the perfect chance to steal the artifact. Hope you have all the necessary information needed to steal the prized possession. Head south to enter the museum. Good Luck!" After taking the VT: say "You have stolen the statue and deleted the security footage of the museum. You quickly escape the museum to see a black car parked right outside the exit. You discretely hand over the statue to them and you receive a large sum of money for your work. The car drives away immediately, but you're too busy admiring the money to care about anything else."; end the game in victory. The Grand Door is a door. The grand door is north of the entrance. It is locked. The description of the grand door is "The giant door that welcomes the visitors to the museum." Instead of entering the entrance when player is not carrying silver key, say "If you leave now, you won't be able to get all the information you need to steal the statue." The Egyptian Exhibit is southeast of Main Hall. “There’s a guard standing in front of a pair of closed doors. This exhibit hasn’t opened yet. Northwest leads you back into the Main Hall.†A blueprint is a thing. The player is carrying the blueprint. The description of the blueprint is "A gift to help you navigate the museum. It’s roughly the size of a small map and has all the exhibits. You can also see the security office, a small room on the right side of the map, a small room in the Egyptian exhibit and what seems to be stairs in a one-level museum in the prehistoric exhibit." A coin is a thing. The player is carrying the coin. The description of the coin is "It's shiny!" A fake statue is thing. The player is carrying the fake statue. It’s packed from wall to wall with supplies. In the dark, you can only see a few objects. You can see a high shelf. You might need something to help you reach up there. To the west is the door out." The locker is a closed, openable container in the Closet. The locker is opaque. The janitor's outfit is a thing in the locker. The description of the janitor's outfit is "Yellow isn’t your colour, but you think it’s your size." Understand "Janitor outfit" or "Janitor's outfit" or "Janitors outfit"as Janitor's outfit. The janitor's outfit is wearable. After wearing janitor's outfit, say "There's something in the pocket." A pocket is an opaque container. A pocket is a part of the janitor's outfit. "Paintings and drawings flood the walls of this exhibit. In the middle are various sculptures that have been carefully carved and constructed. On the east wall, four paintings catch your interest. To the northeast is the way out. To the north is the Chinese exhibit." The paintings is scenery in the European exhibit. It is fixed in place. The description of the paintings is "There are four brightly coloured paintings on the wall. Respectively paintings 1, 2, 3, and 4." Instead of taking the paintings, say "BEEPBEEPBEEP. Oh no! You triggered the alarm. Better be more careful next time." Painting #1 is a part of the paintings. It is fixed in place. The description of painting #1 is "A painting with a dragon named 'Who ATE the peanuts'.†Understand "Painting 1" or "Painting #1" as Painting #1. Instead of taking the painting #1, say "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Oh no! You triggered the alarm. Better be more careful next time." Painting #2 is a part of the paintings. It is fixed in place. The description of painting #3 is "A painting with a moon named 'TOgether'.†Understand "Painting 3" or "Painting #3" as Painting #3. Instead of taking the painting #1, say "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Oh no! You triggered the alarm. Better be more careful next time." Painting #4 is a part of the paintings. It is fixed in place. The description of painting #4 is "A painting with leaves named 'Come FOR the apple'.†Understand "Painting 4" or "Painting #4" as Painting #4. Instead of taking the painting #4, say "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Oh no! You triggered the alarm. Better be more careful next time." The Chinese Exhibit is northwest of the Main Hall and north of the European Museum. "A quiet and vast gallery featuring lots of East Asian art protected by glass. On the east wall, there are some ink paintings. To the west wall, there are four decorative vases. Southeast is the Main Hall. To the south is the European Exhibit." The ink paintings is scenery in the Chinese exhibit. It is fixed in place. The description of the ink paintings is "There is nothing of interest here." The vases is scenery in the Chinese exhibit. It is fixed in place. The description of the vases is "There are four beautifully glazed vases on display. Respectively vases 1, 2, 3, and 4 from left to right." Instead of taking the vases, say "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Oh no! You triggered the alarm. Better be more careful next time." Vase #1 is a part of the vases. It is fixed in place. "A massive room with massive dinosaur skeletons on display. There are many little display cases with smaller fossils and diagrams. To the west, you can see a security guard monitoring the guests in a little office behind a glass door. To the northwest, you can see the door leading to what you think are stairs. To the southwest is the way you came from." The guard is a person. The guard is in the Security Office. Instead of asking guard about something when player is not carrying water bottle, say "'Honestly I don't know anything. I'm just here to earn some money.'" Instead of asking guard about something when player is carrying water bottle, say "You talk to the guard and you 'accidentally' spill your water on him. He gets mad and storms out of the room, but you see that he dropped something shiny on the ground." Instead of asking guard about something when player is carrying water bottle, move guard to the hidden room. The key holder is part of the desk. The key holder is an openable, open container. The key holder is fixed in place. The steel key is in the key holder. The steel key is a thing. "It unlocks something in the museum."The STLD has a matching key the steel key. Understand "shiny thing" or "shiny" or "steel key" as steel key. After taking the steel key: say "You obtain a steel key. You should have enough information to steal the Egyptian statue. You should still explore the museum to find other things that could be useful to you. Once you are ready to steal the artifact, exit the museum and wait until night falls." The Security Office is west of the office door. "A fairly cramped room with several display monitors on the tables showing what seems to be security footage of the entire museum. You see a security guard looking out towards the exhibit. Maybe you should ask him something. The desk has a few drawers. To the east, there is the door out." The hidden room is north of the Security Office. The office door is west of the Prehistoric Exhibit. The office door is a door. The office door has a matching key the silver key. The office door is locked. Instead of opening the office door when player is not wearing janitor's outfit, say "The security guard looks mad and pushes you back out. 'STAFF ONLY!'" The desk is a thing in the Security Office. The desk is fixed in place. The description of the desk is "Theres a big binder on the desk along with piles of paper and several monitors, all displaying a section of the museum. The desk seems to have a few drawers. "A flight of simple concrete stairs going down that is illuminated by a small number of dim fluorescent lights. Something is down the stairs. To the southeast is the door leading back to exhibit." The Hallway is below the Stairs. The description of the hallway is "You walk out of the stairwell into a dusty and dark corridor. There's nobody here. No tourists, no guards, but security cameras line the hallway. The hallway continues all the way down to the south, it's too dark for you to see what's there. To the east, there is another hallway. The only way is find out what's here is to keep walking or go back to the museum. The museum is above you." The Elevator is south of the Hallway. The description of the elevator is "You've quietly walk the long length of the hallway. You're tired but you finally see something. An elevator! Where does it go? Back to the north is the hallway going back to the stairs. You see another dimly lit hallway going east. " The few boxes is a thing in the elevator. The few boxes is fixed in place. The description is "There are a few cardboard boxes piled in front of the elevator. One box contains some art with hieroglyphics. Another holds carvings of Pharaohs and pyramids." The e1evator is a thing in the elevator with printed name "elevator". Understand "elevator" as e1evator. The e1evator is fixed in place. The description of the e1evator is "It only has one button that goes up. It looks too shabby and dirty for public use. The door is wide and there is yellow and black striped caution tape on the floor, kind of like a service elevator." The map is a thing in the elevator. The map is fixed in place. The description of the map is "A map of the museum is beside the elevator. It looks exactly like the blueprint you have of the museum, except this map has a second floor. It appears that the elevator leads up to an exhibit." The Cellar is east of the elevator. The cellar is east of the Hallway. The cellar is a room. "You see a huge, intimidating steel vault. The door spans all the way from the floor to the ceiling. There are many protections here, there are red, smouldering lasers and thick metal bars separating the heavy, metal door from you. The hallway back to the museum is to the west." The steel door is a locked, closed, openable door. The steel door is north of the cellar. The description is "There is a key slot and a camera aimed at the vault door. It doesn't see you right now, but if you move any closer it will." Instead of opening steel door, say "Are you crazy? That's a bad idea." The Egyptian Exhibit Inside is a room with printed name "Egyptian Exhibit (Inside)". The Egyptian Exhibit Inside is above the elevator. The description of the egyptian exhibit inside is "You've made it into the Egyptian Exhibit! The place is a mess, no wonder they haven't opened it. Some art has been hung up on the wall, but most of the art remains under white sheets to protect it. The Wing to the east has some art there." The Right Wing is east of the Egyptian Exhibit Inside. "Some pretty replicas of the sphinx are here, but you don't see the statue. There's another wing of art to the west." The West Wing is west of the Right Wing. "Under the white sheets are some oil paintings of Jesus, that doesn't seem to be in the right exhibit. No statue here. You see a nice, fat, steaming hot burrito from Chipotle. You wonder if anyone will miss their lunch if you took it. The Egyptian Exhibit is back to the east" The EEI is east of the west wing. The eei is a room with printed name "Egyptian Exhibit (Inside)". "You can't find the Egyptian Statue anywhere. Where else could it be?" The MH is south of the Entrance. The MH is a room with printed name "Main Hall (Night)".
