"Inferno" Front yard is outside of the house. "You stand wide-eyed at the two story, picture-perfect suburban house, engulfed in flames. Your protective gear weighs down heavily on your body. A woman conversing with the Chief fire-fighter catches your eye. The hallowed cheeks, sunken eyes and tear stained sleeves are a dead give-away, a victim's mother. As you approach the pair, you shoot the Chief an inquisitive look and the broad man's deep voice quickly explains, 'There's a young boy trapped up on the second floor, three years old. The full unit is on the way but anyone who is willing to act now has my authorization to do so.'" Chief is a man. Mother is a woman. The front door is a closed locked door. "A white front door with blue trims stands tall." The key unlocks the front door. The front door is north of the front yard. The front door is south of the living room. A mailbox is in the front yard. "A faded yellow mailbox stands to the right of the front door." The mailbox is fixed in place. The key is in the mailbox. The living room is a room. "You are immediately hit with the immense heat radiating from the flaming house. The off-white living room is fairly intact and you quickly deduce the fire must have started on the second floor. To the west you see a passageway to another room". The picture frame is in the living room. "There is a small picture frame on the wall to your right." The description of the picture frame is "As you move closer, you identify the picture as a family portrait. What you assume to be a mother and father stand protectively around a young boy. The three share a tan complexion and dark brown hair." West of living room is the kitchen. The kitchen is a room. "Your face mask fogs as you trek into the kitchen. The wide room is blurred by a film of smoke. Habitually, you glance to the electrical outlets in the room to momentarily inspect for signs of the fire’s origin, to no avail. The living room is east of where you are. The dining room is north of where you are." North of kitchen is the dining room. The fridge is in the kitchen. "You see a fridge over in the corner." The fridge is a closed openable container. The water bottle is in the fridge. "You see a single water bottle in the fridge. You may examine it." Description of the water bottle is "The water is warm, but drinkable." Water bottle can be drunk. Instead of taking fridge: say "That's a little heavy, don't you think?" Instead of eating fridge: say "You have a job to do, why would you eat a fridge?" The dining room is a room. "As you step into the dining room, a wave of heat crashes over your body. Sweat starts to form underneath your protective gear. The crackle of a flame has escalated to howling winds and thunderous roars of fire." East of the dining room is the play room. The dining room table is in the dining room. "There is a grand ebony dining room table centered in the room." The play room is a room. "Through the thick smoke clouding your vision, you see a great deal of children’s toys scattered along the floor. At the back wall of this playful room, a staircase leading to the second floor of the house lies. You may climb the staircase by typing 'up'." Toys are in the playroom. Fire is scenery. Description of fire is "The massive fire encompasses the entirety of the roof." Description of the toys is "You notice children's toys scattered all over the floor." A staircase is a kind of door. A staircase is usually open. A staircase is seldom openable. The stairs are a staircase. It is above the play room and below the hallway. The hallway is a room. "As you ascend the stairs and reach the second level platform, you are met with essentially a ring of fire. You stand in the entrance of the hallway and are blinded by the flaring inferno that surrounds you. You are not able to distinguish the the floor-plan, doors and rooms of the upper level. Your protective gear is still fully intact and functioning, thus, you are capable of running through the flames. You hear a soft wail echoing through the hall. The sound is near, but you cannot pinpoint its source. You must explore the top floor to find the young child." South of the hallway is a child's bedroom. West of the hallway is the master bedroom. Southwest of the hallway is the bathroom. A child's bedroom is a room. "The room has been almost completely destroyed by the fire." Boy is in the child's bedroom. "A very young and frail looking child, age three, is huddled into the corner of the collapsing bedroom. The child is sputtering and coughing violently. The sound of choked sobs are thrown sporadically into the mess of noises the young boy is producing. His knees are hugged tightly to his chest, and his head is hung low. Without a word, you rush over to him and place your hand on his small shoulder. His head shoots up immediately at the contact. A flash of relief washes over the boy's eyes as he begins coughing violently once more. You notice that his skin is severely irritated and burned." The master bedroom is a room. "A grand room left fairly unscathed by the raging fire. The heat has risen to ignite the roof above, but has manged to avoid setting the large room ablaze. The dark red walls and gold decoration ironically camouflage the room into its fiery ambiance." Bed is in the master bedroom. "A magnificent king sized bed is pressed against the far wall of the room." Blanket is in the master bedroom. "Topped with a luxuriously soft gray blanket, the bed is truly fit for a king." The bathroom is a room. "Through the thick layer of smoke, you note the empty, mint green bathroom." After taking the boy: end the game in victory
