The black door is a closed door. The black door is a closed locked door. The orange key unlocks the black door. The black door is south of the corridor. 

The description of the drawing is "It's a portrait of a black, young man who looks to be in his sixties. He holds a gold candle and a little boy with the same black hair sits on his lap playing with a pit bull." 


The description of the mirror is "You see yourself in the mirror and realize your appearance is horrendous. You see a dresser behind you." 

The dresser is in the corridor. The dresser is fixed in place. The toy duck is inside the dresser. The orange key is inside the dresser. The candle is inside the dresser. The dresser is a closed container. The dresser is openable.


The description of the dresser is "The closet is grey, plastic, large container with rubber knobs on the drawer. There is a candle in the closet." 
Before opening the dresser: say "Maybe the surprise is in here."; continue the action.

After taking the key: say "I think I have to open a door with this key." 

The library is south of the black door.

The nightstand is in the library. The nightstand is fixed in place. On the nightstand is a list. After taking the list: say "The list says 'here is a hint for your surprise: it is brown and large.'"  

Kitchen is west of the library. "You are in the kitchen with library to the East." 

The counter is in the kitchen. On the counter is a brownie, a large cookie, and a doughnut. 

The brownie is an object. The brownie is edible. 

The large cookie is an object. The large cookie is edible. 

The doughnut is an object. The doughnut is edible . After eating the doughnut: say "You eat the doughnut. I do not feel so good. I think the doughnut is poisoned."; end the game in death.

The pink door is east of the kitchen. The pink door is an open door. 

The dining room is east of the pink door.  "Now you're in the dining room with the pink door to the West."

The table is in the dining room. On the table is a cake. 

The cake is an edible object. After eating the cake: say "Yuck, this is plastic. This is not my surprise"

The main hall is north of the dining room. The front door is west of the main hall. The front door is an open door.
"Now you're in the driveway south of the front door and there is a dog. There is a huge banner reading: CONGRATS! YOUR SURPRISE IS A NEW DOG! HAPPY BIRTHDAY"
