You have just put down the book of fairy tale stories which you read to yourself every night before going to sleep. Any remnants of energy which once filled your body have been completely drained.[paragraph break]Your only desire at this moment is to sleep." Instead of sleeping: say "In a matter of seconds you're fast asleep with your head and body completely immersed in the comforts of your bed.[paragraph break]Images begin to appear in front of you, you can almost make them out. A forest you think to yourself, it looks like a forest to the south of you." [Magical Forest] The Magical Forest is a room. The Magical Forest is south of The Bedroom. ".....Zzzzzzz--- *you suddenly wake up* Huh? That's odd, you don't remember sleeping in a forest last night... Hmm, this forest looks a lot like the one in the book you last read. Looks like you must be dreaming![paragraph break]You start looking around. You see a path heading west that is decorated with shoes, another filled with pillows to the east, and a continued forest to the south." A Bush is in the Magical Forest. The Bush is fixed in place. The description of bush is "You search through the bush. You noticed that there is a little green chest. It's weird that it would be in a bush..." The acorn is an object. The acorn can be found. The acorn is not found. The acorn is fixed in place. A Rock is in the Magical Forest. The description of the Rock is "Oooh, this is a pretty rock, never seen one this sparkly before. It's propped off the ground a bit though, maybe there's something under?" The acorn is a thing. The acorn can be found. The acorn is not found. Instead of looking under the rock: if the acorn is found: say "There's nothing else under here"; otherwise: now the acorn is found; now the player carries the acorn; say "Hey, what's an acorn doing down here. You find it lying under the rock. Your mouth waters at the thought of eating roasted acorns and you instinctively pick it up." Instead of taking the rock: if the acorn is found: say "There's nothing else under here"; otherwise: now the acorn is found; now the player carries the acorn; say "Hey, what's an acorn doing down here. Instead of taking the tiny green key: say "*The squirrel scratches you* Whoa, that's not very nice. You figure that you can't straight up take the shiny thing from the squirrel. [Sleeping Beauty] The Dreamer's Chamber is east of the Magical Forest. “Against the back wall sits a bed where a beautiful young lady has been graciously laid to rest. On the headboard of the bed reads a message, but your eyesight is sub par so it requires further examination to read it. On the north side of the room is a closed locked mahogany door. Against the west wall is a table with a drawer.†The Dreamer's Chamber is a room. The Wardrobe is a room. The mahogany door is north of the Dreamer's Chamber and south of the Wardrobe. The mahogany door is a door. The mahogany door is scenery. The mahogany door is lockable and locked. Instead of entering the mahogany door: if the mahogany door is locked: say "The mahogany door is locked. You are unable to enter it."; The description of the mahogany door is “The door is made of a beautiful polished slab of mahogany. You try to open it, but it appears to be locked. You can't seem to find a key anywhere to open it." The bed is in the Dreamer's Chamber. The bed is fixed in place. The description of the bed is “It is the largest bed you have ever seen- fit for royalty, you think to yourself. The bed sheets are velvety soft with intricate gold details on them. You wish you could own sheets like this.†The table is in the Dreamer's Chamber. The drawer is part of the table. The drawer is a closed openable container. In the drawer is a potion. The description of the table is “The table is made of walnut wood. Beautiful carvings surround the legs of the table. There is a single closed drawer with a gold handle. On the table there is a book opened up to a page.†The description of the drawer is "There's nothing special about the drawer, but it is closed so perhaps something lies inside." The description of the potion is “It is a glass bottle filled with a pink liquid. On the bottle is says ‘Love Potion’.†Instead of drinking the potion: say "You don't know what it will do to you! You would prefer is someone else tested it before you did." Instead of eating the potion: say "What if it's poisonous! You'd prefer not to eat it in concern for your own safety." The open book is on the table. The description of the open book is “You pick up the book. It is much heavier than it looks. The open page seems to be about lifting a curse of everlasting sleep. It reads: To lift the curse of everlasting sleep you must bring about undying love upon the cursed.†The headboard is on the bed. The headboard is fixed in place. The description of the headboard is “There is a message inscribed in the headboard, it reads: On this bed lies Sleeping Beauty. I love thee with all my heart even though thou are forever at rest. May thou one day open thy eyes and share thy beauty with the world just as thou have shared thy heart with me.†Sleeping beauty is a person in the Dreamer's Chamber. The description of Sleeping Beauty is “She looks so young and innocent. A beautiful satin gown wraps her body, and her golden hair flows perfectly down the pillow on which her head rests.†Instead of kissing Sleeping beauty: say "Eww, you don't know where her lips have been!" The description of the glass slipper is “It would be nice to have a pair of slippers, but you’ll take one slipper over none. You’ve never seen any slipper like it. It’s made of glass yet it shines and glimmers like diamonds. You feel very bad for the individual who has lost this slipper. You would return it if you found the owner, but you know you will be hesitant to give away something of such beauty.†Instead of giving the potion to Sleeping beauty: say "Sleeping beauty jumps up and startles you. 'Oh you’ve saved me from a life of eternal sleep. Thank you, thank you so much.' says Sleeping Beauty. 'Oh my prince where is he? I must go see him for we have been apart too long. But I can’t see my beloved dressed like this.'[paragraph break]Sleeping beauty gets out of bed and walks over to the mahogany door. She pulls a key out of her pocket and unlocks it.â€; now the mahogany door is unlocked; say "(now the mahogany door is unlocked) Behind the door lies a massive wardrobe.[paragraph break]"; say "'Oh you must come in here and help me choose an outfit.’ Says Sleeping beauty as she looks at you."; Instead of opening the mahogany door: say “Her wardrobe is filled with a bounteous amount of splendid clothes. ‘Huh.’ Sleeping beauty says as she pulls out a glass slipper from her wardrobe. ‘This isn’t mine. I have no idea what it’s doing here. Besides, it’s not my style. You want it?'[paragraph break]You take the glass slipper out of her hands. It really is quite exquisite the way it shines and sparkles like a thousand diamonds.[paragraph break]â€; now the player carries the glass slipper; say “Sleeping Beauty chooses an outfit and hurries out the door to see her beloved prince.â€; remove the potion from play; remove Sleeping Beauty from play; [Snow White] The Enchanted Forest is south of the Magical Forest. "A forest of thick trees tower over you. The sun has just risen and you can feel the dewy mist all around you.[paragraph break]Ahead of you, there are paths to the east and west, but you are unable to see what lies ahead of it." The flower is in the Enchanted Forest. "Just a few feet away from you stands a beautiful purple flower. It is not especially big, but it draws your attention because of the way it glimmers in the sun." The description of the flower is "The flower is a wondrous purple shade, unlike anything you have ever seen before. It radiates a blinding beauty which makes you speechless." The Enchanted Forest Path is west of the Enchanted Forest. "A forest clearing begins to appear in front of you. Loud obnoxious sounds start to fill your ears, but as you listen closely you realize it is singing- profoundly appalling singing. When you focus on the sounds you notice that it is coming from further west." The Cottage is west of The Enchanted Forest Path. "As you walk ahead towards the forest clearing you stumble upon a cottage. Its size reminds you of a dollhouse, and its color is anything but bright. As you continue walking towards the dull beige cottage the singing grows louder." The Cottage is a room. The Living Room is a room. The wood door is a closed door. "On the front of the cottage is a small wooden arched door." The wood door is north of the Cottage. The wood door is south of the Living Room. Understand "wood door" as door. The Living Room is a room. "Immediately after you walk inside you are in awe at what you see. Surrounding you is seven drunk dwarves trying their best to sing. The singing in this situation would best be described as a compilation of horrendous sounds." Grumpy is a person in the Living Room. "A little dwarf walks towards you, he can barely stand without tripping over himself. He looks very grumpy.[paragraph break]He must be Grumpy the dwarf from the storybook you were reading, you think to yourself.[paragraph break]'Hmmph, another visitor!' He says in a very bitter voice. 'Why does everybody think that they can walk into our house whenever they want. We already had a visitor last week, called herself Show White. Very troublesome that girl.'[paragraph break]Try asking grumpy something. Although he is grumpy, maybe he'll still help you." Instead of asking Grumpy about [something]: say "Grumpy only wishes to say one thing. 'If you're asking about Snow White, she's upstairs in the attic. An evil old lady who rules the land was envious of Snow White's exquisite beauty. Snow White was deceived into eating an apple which she thought was harmless. It was filled with a poison which has put her into a deep coma.'[paragraph break]Grumpy's eyes begin to fill with tears. 'I was just beginning to like her, but now she's gone. All of us are drunk because we're trying to forget about her.'[paragraph break]On the far wall there is a ladder taking you upstairs to the Attic." [Include Conversation Responses by Eric Eve. Even in a coma she looks beautiful as ever. You can see Grumpy sniffling." The bed stand is in the Attic. Understand "bedstand" as bed stand. On the bed stand is a paper. The description of the bed stand is "It's a plain old white bed stand. There is nothing special about it. On the bed stand there is a paper which appears to have been ripped out of a book." Instead of examining the paper: say "'It's a remedy for Snow White,' explains Grumpy. 'I found it in an old book of mine. It says we must give a purple flower of everlasting beauty to her, but I've searched everywhere and I can't find any such flower. It was our last hope,' sniffles Grumpy." Instead of giving the flower to Snow White: say "Snow White slowly open her eyes. She gets out of bed and looks at you.[paragraph break]'Oh, thank you so much, she says in happiness. You saved my life.'[paragraph break]Snow White begins to remove a necklace which she wore on her neck. She holds the necklace in her hands and extends her arms outwards towards you.'I want you to have this as a token of my gratitude,' she says, 'it's a good luck charm that I've had ever since I was little. Please accept it.'"; remove the flower from play; now the player carries the necklace; say "[paragraph break]You now carry the necklace. As you look closely you realize that the charm on the necklace is in fact a gold key, but you have no idea what it opens.[paragraph break]'Thank you, Snow White,' you say." The necklace is an object. Snow White carries the necklace. The description of the necklace is "It is a very simple necklace. The chord is leather and it carries one charm on it. The description is "What a brilliant shade of red." The Twisty Forest is a room. "Trees tower over you and you feel yourself shrinking in fear a little more. You try to look beyond all the paths but can only seem to see an endless forest. [paragraph break]Directions are very confusing here and you have to be careful where you step. To your right is the south, left is the north, forward is the east and backwards would be west, back to the Enchanted Forest." The trees are scenery. The trees are in the Twisty Forest. The desk is in the Dusty Attic. The description is "The desk is covered in cinder just like everything else in the room. There are no drawers and there is also nothing on top." Instead of eating the Cheese: say "You'll probably get food poisoning if you consume this." Instead of dropping the Cheese: if Gus is found: say "No other mice are in the hole right now."; otherwise: now Gus is found; now the player carries Gus; say "A chubby mouse squeezes its way out of the hole, and swallows the cheese in one mouthful. You cringe thinking of all the mold on the cheese but you recognize the mouse as Gus, a friend of Cinderella's, right away. You quickly scoop him up in your arms before he is able to run away."; remove the cheese from play. [Instead of going west from the Dusty Attic: if the player has not found Gus: say "You hear a squeak from under the bed. Better check that out first."; otherwise: continue the action.] Gus is a person. Gus can be found. Gus is not found. Gus is inside the Hole. The Cheese is a thing. The description is "You see mold growing on all sides of the cheese. Doesn't look like it's safe for you to eat." The Cheese can be found. The Cheese is not found. Instead of looking under the Pillow: if the Cheese is found: say "There's nothing else under here"; otherwise: now the Cheese is found; now the player carries the Cheese; say "Ew. You find a block of moldy cheese under the pillow. You wrinkled up your nose in disgust but pick it up anyway." Instead of taking the Pillow: if the Cheese is found: say "There's nothing else under here"; otherwise: now the Cheese is found; now the player carries the Cheese; say "Ew. You try to make out what she says between sobs. 'Lost glass slipper-' 'Prince waiting for me-' 'Stepmother not letting me-' A hiccup. '-leave house'." The glass slipper is a thing. "This room is much bigger than the small attic you were in. It looks just like how a normal living room would look like. You can go up the stairs to the attic to the east and north is the front door leading out of the house." Cinderella's Stepmother is a person. "Cinderella's Stepmother paces around the room furiously. She murmurs to herself 'Cinderella better have cleaned up the house properly. I don't want any pesky mice around.'" Cinderella's Stepmother is in the Main Floor. Understand "stepmother" as Cinderella's Stepmother. Scary-Stepmother is a recurring scene. Scary-Stepmother begins when the player is in the Main Floor and the player carries Gus. Scary-Stepmother ends when Cinderella's Stepmother carries Gus. Instead of going north during Scary-Stepmother: say "The stepmother blocks the doorway and tells you 'Cinderella is not going anywhere with me in your way. MY daughters are supposed to become princesses. Not Cinderella, all covered in cinder. Just look at her.' Cinderella winces." When Scary-Stepmother begins: say "It doesn't look like Cinderella's Stepmother is going to let you out of the house." Instead of dropping Gus in Main Floor: now Cinderella's Stepmother carries Gus; say "'EEEEEK!' The hair-raising screech comes from Cinderella's Stepmother and you have to keep yourself from laughing. Here's your chance to escape!" Instead of giving Gus to Cinderella's Stepmother: now Cinderella's Stepmother carries Gus; say "'EEEEEK!' The hair-raising screech comes from Cinderella's Stepmother and you have to keep yourself from laughing. Here's your chance to escape!" The Front Yard is a room. The Front Yard is north of the Main Floor. "You're finally away from Cindrella's Stepmother. Good thing it looks like you can head southeast back to the Magical Forest." The Magical Forest is southeast of the Front Yard. The Unknown Portal is a door. The Unknown Portal is scenery. The Unknown Portal is northwest of the Magical Forest. The Unknown Portal is locked. The Prince is a person. The Prince is in the Front Yard. [Ending-Prince is a recurring scene. Ending-Prince begins when Cinderella is in the Front Yard and the player does not carry the Red Queen's crown. Ending-Prince ends when the player carries a Red Queen's crown.] The Red Queen's crown is an object. The prince carries the Red Queen's crown. Instead of going to the Front Yard: if the player carries Cinderella: now the player is in the Front Yard; now the player carries the Red Queen's crown; now the prince carries Cinderella; say "The Prince waits for Cinderella with open arms and a blinding smile. You feel your heart fluttering already but remind yourself that you'll find your own prince someday.[paragraph break]'Thank you for bringing Cinderella to me, she's the love of my life and I don't know what I would do without her.
