When play begins, say "Welcome to my game! If you know your directions, this should be easy for you!" The Forest is a room. The description of the Forest is "You are in a dark and gloomy forest. To the north is a small, cozy cabin." The Cabin is north of the Forest. "You enter a small, dusty cabin. There is not much in there. The floors creak as you walk through. Towards the west is where the kitchen rests." The Kitchen is west of the Cabin. "It has dishes in the sink and plates set on the table, but dust covers everything. Someone must have forgotten about this place years ago!" The table is in the Kitchen. The wooden chest is on the table. "There is a wooden box sitting on the table." The key is in the wooden chest.
