"You are in your Grandma's house, a one-room shack with a dirt floor.[paragraph break]Grandma's supplies take up most of the room: dried herbs and roots hanging from the ceiling, shelves and shelves along the walls holding jars of strange shriveled things, a huge cauldron in the corner. Her bed is in the opposite corner of the room. The front door is to the east." Rule for printing room description details of things in Swamp hut: stop. The jars are scenery in Swamp hut. Since the floor itself is dirt, that's actually kind of impressive." The herbs are scenery in Swamp hut. The bed is enterable. The description of the bed is "Grandma's bed, piled high with quilts." Instead of entering the bed, say "That's probably not a good idea. Even if Grandma didn't leave anything gross under the covers - and you can't rule that out - she'd probably be mad at you for sitting on her bed. She'd know." Instead of taking the bed, say "It's much too heavy." Instead of looking under the bed, say "The floor under the bed is covered in a thick layer of dust. Since the floor itself is dirt, that's actually kind of impressive." The front door is a door. The front door is east of Swamp hut and west of Front yard. Front yard is a room. The description of Front yard is "It's not really a yard, but it's a patch in front of the hut where some of the grasses and vines have been cleared away, so it's close enough. There's an old well here, too. [paragraph break]A path to the south leads toward the road." The well is an open container in Front yard. The well is fixed in place. Rule for printing room description details of the well: stop. There is water in the well. The description of the well is "The water in the well is clear, as always. You're not sure where it comes from, since Grandma's house is in a woodsy swamp, and all the groundwater around here is murky." Cypress path is south from Front yard. The description of Cypress path is "A long, narrow path that winds further south, toward the road at the outskirts of the swamp area. If you head off to the west from here, though, you'll come to a little clearing. There are some small brown mushrooms growing around the trees[apostrophe] roots. A crow is perched on a branch high above you." Trees are scenery in Cypress path. Understand "tree" and "cypress" and "cypress tree" as the trees. If she has something to say, you wish she would just come down here and say it." Instead of taking the crow, say "Even if you could reach her, she probably wouldn't let you do that." Some mushrooms are things in Cypress path. Understand "mushroom" and "small brown mushrooms" and "small brown mushroom" as the mushrooms. Instead of eating mushrooms, say "Nope. You don't know the local mushrooms well enough to be able to tell if these are poisonous to humans or not. Just because crows eat them doesn't mean they're safe for you." Instead of giving mushrooms to the crow: say "You hold a mushroom high above your head and look at the crow. She waits for a moment before swooping down and grabbing the mushroom in her beak. You watch as she flies off to the west, then comes back and sits on her branch again."; now the transformation stones are in Clearing; remove the mushrooms from play. Clearing is west from Cypress path. The description of Clearing is "An open space among the trees. It feels calm, even though you can still hear the noises of the swamp around you. Some transformation stones are things. The description of the transformation stones is "Polished quartz stones with symbols you don't understand carved into them. Local folklore says they give you the qualities of an animal, or even its physical form. Grandma must have left these here." Understand "stones" as the transformation stones. Instead of taking the transformation stones, say "Grandma would be furious. You don't even know what you'd do with them, anyway." Dirt road is south from Cypress path. The bus is empty except for you.[paragraph break]As you watch the swamp fade into the distance, you realize you've forgotten some of your things.
