You're freaked out, really. The name Dr. Aquia sounds familiar and she looks familiar, but you can't quite place it. The symbol of the university you attend is painted on the wall behind her desk. You know you haven't lost it entirely — you are certainly a student there. She interrupts your wandering thoughts sharply. 'If you insist. It's not everyday that someone has such a dramatic reaction to Hypoconcentra. I've heard of the jitters, but fainting is quite rare.' 'Have you noticed any memory loss?' She doesn't give you time to answer. 'If you do, just know that it is completely normal. I've administered a new medication to counteract the adverse reaction to the Hypoconcentra. Short term amnesia during the first few hours is a common side-effect.' 'You'll need to take one of theseblue pills right before you go to bed,' she continues. 'You are free to go.' Her words jog your memory a bit. Hypoconcentra. A newly developed medicine intended to fix memory loss in elderly patients, but which became quite popular among college students and competitive academics. When taken by anyone who doesn't suffer memory loss, it boosts one's natural intelligence. Better thoughts, quicker. What would take three hours naturally was reduced to an hour long task under the influence of Hypoconcentra, and that was before you got used to the drug. These days, it's weird if a college student doesn't use it. The ones who don't usually drop out of school. And pretty much everyone knows that while it's simple to get a prescription, it certainly isn't cheap. Or at least, not from any government-run health organization. It's much cheaper to buy from the street chemists. They can be shady, but they usually deliver quality. You've had an in with the top group of the town for almost a year now, and never any problems before this." The description of the large desk is "On the desk, an engraved name tag reads 'J.A.
