"McMansion" by Claire Shu and Eddy Liu [make doors functional and openable and unlockable with keys] [add control panel to open bookshelf for secret room] [make condition with knife or sword in the secret room] The carrying capacity of the player is 3. When play begins: say "You can’t remember the last time you felt so comfortable, the sun hugs your skin like a blanket of pure love. As you approach the manse, the intoxicating scent of lavender greets you. Iridescent bubbles pepper the air, bobbing in the breeze. You’ve arrived at the Londry Estate. It almost seems like yesterday when you traversed these grounds as a wee boy. [line break]You hear a faint laughter approaching from a distance. As you search for the origin of said laughter, you feel a soft poke in your abdomen. A short boy, no more than 10, stands before you, brandishing a toothy grin. Ohhhhhh... this must be Jared, Cressida's son. You should have remembered, considering the amount of Christmas cards you received. You make a mental note for next time.". the Grounds is a room. The description of the grounds is " Your gaze follows the lumbering willows from their knotted base to their delicate branches, dancing in the sky. Neat bushes line the property. Iridescent bubbles pepper the air, bobbing the breeze. A cool wind filters through the various topiary, grazing your cheek. To the north, at the heart of the greenery, lies the mansion, stoic as ever. It's cobbled brick walls, crumbling shingles and colourful shutters amalgamate to a soft, rustic feel. To the East and West are more bushes." Cressida Londry is a person in the Grounds. Understand "Wife" and "Woman" as Cressida Londry. Understand the command "unravel" as "open". [line break] Your mind flits back to the situation at hand. A few days ago, your close family friend had reported a string of worrying incidents. You appreciate the business as an up-and-coming private eye, but part of you feels genuine worry for your friend. You better solve this before it gets out of hand .".
