Woodlands is a room. "There are broken twigs scattered across the floor. You hear a bird screeching in the distance." 

Riverbank is a room. Riverbank is west of the Woodlands. "The river is very wide, you are going to need a rowboat to cross." 

Cabin porch is a room. cabin porch is south of the woodlands. "The cabin is very old and covered in dust and cobwebs. There is a door ahead of you leading inside the cabin." The cabin door is a door. The cabin door is south of the cabin porch. 

The abandoned cabin is a room. The abandoned cabin is south of the cabin door. The rowboat is in the abandoned cabin. The rowboat is a vehicle. 

Swamp is a room. Swamp is north of the Riverbank. "The swamp is covered with frogs and dead trees. You start to wonder what possibly could be over here. There is a path that leads east towards a ranger station." 

instead of going north in riverbank when the player is not in the rowboat: 
say "you must have a rowboat to cross." 

Ranger Station is a room. Ranger station is east of Swamp. "It appears this station has been abandoned for a while. The roof is caving in and most of the windows are broken. The door is missing and you see scratch marks all along the door frame. There is a sign nearby with some writing on it. You might want to see what it says." The sign is in the Ranger station. The description of the sign is "There is a cave just west of the swamp, it will have all the answers."

Outer Cave is a room. Outer Cave is west of Swamp. "It's very dark inside the cave, you start to wonder if you should really go inside. You can hear an odd sound coming from the inside of the cave."

Inner Cave is a room. Inner cave is west of Outer cave. "You start to feel your way around the inside of the cave. You then find yourself asking if you should go north or south?"

Dead End is a room. Dead End is south of Inner Cave. "You can go no further in this direction."

Pond is a room. Pond is north of Inner Cave. "You're very surprised to see a pond in the cave. Their are fish jumping in and out of the pond, and you can see something flashing on the other side of the pond." The phone is in the Pond. The description of the phone is "The phone keeps flashing the word Watchtower over and over."

Watchtower is a room. Watchtower is north of Outer Cave. "You start to think there might be a radio on top of the watchtower, so you start to climb on top of it to investigate. When you reach the top you see: A broken radio, a map, and Woodlands as far as the eye can see. You began to wonder if you will ever make out of here." The radio is in the Watchtower. The description of the radio is "It appears to have been broken for a long time, and unable to fix." The map is in the Watchtower. The description of the map is "According to this map I should move north from here."

Camp grounds is a room. Camp grounds is north from Watchtower. "These camp grounds appear to be abandoned. You can see trash everywhere and cobwebs covering ever inch of the camp grounds. You see tracks that lead to the east and a path that leaves west."

Rest Area is a room. Rest Area is east of Camp grounds. "You follow the tracks to a rest area. You can see a trail of blood leading to the bushes, north of where you are." 

Bushes is a room. Bushes is north of Rest Area. "You find a dead body hiding behind the bushes. You assume whatever did this was the thing that tore up the Ranger Station. You should probably head back to the camp grounds, before whatever was here comes back." 

Trail is a room. Trail is west of Camp grounds. "You notice how overgrown the trail is and wonder how long has it been in use. Once you reach the end you start to see a village, just west from you." 

Village is a room. Village is west of Trail. "The village is trashed and abandoned. You can see scratch marks on the walls and door frames. Many of the doors have been ripped off their hinges, just like at the ranger station. You assume what ever was at the ranger station was also here. You hear a loud bang come from the north."

Outskirts is a room. Outskirts is north of Village. "You see a ranger standing over what appears to be a dead mountain lion. The beast that has ravaged these woodlands has been stopped, and you are rescued. The End."
