"DC Blues" The Station Entrance is a room. "You rush down the escalator toward the Farragut North station. You need to scan your Metro pass to move forward." A wallet is here. "The pass is buried in your wallet." Before taking the wallet: say "You grab your wallet to find the pass. You spot it between a couple of bills: your trusty Metro card." After taking the wallet: say "A turnstile is in front (to the north) of you." Before going north: if the player does not have the wallet, stop the action. The Station Interior is a room. The Station Interior is north of the Station Entrance. "The inside of Farragut North is vast, the echoes of passing trains and passengers filling the underground tunnel." A monitor is here. "A large monitor hangs overhead." Before examining the monitor: say "The arrival times for different trains are all displayed. It looks like your train comes soon, in only another minute!"; say "[line break]You start to panic. The escalator leading to your train is on the right (or to the east)."; stop the action. The Platform is a room. The Platform is east of the Station Interior. "As you approach the platform, circular lights on the ground begin to flash. You hear the roar of the train and feel a brush of wind; your contemporary chariot arrives.[line break][line break]'Phew,' you sigh under your breath. You walk toward the train's doors as they slide open in front (or to the north) of you." The Train is a room. The Train is north of the Platform. After going to the Train: say "You take a seat, excited to go home after a long day at work. You deserve some rest."; end the game in victory.
