"Treasure Hunting- Pyramid Edition" by ggrune20 Use no scoring. When play begins: say "You are a treasure hunter in Egypt. You have set out to find treasure in The Great Pyramid of Giza. It will be a very dangerous journey all alone but you are willing to take it in hopes of finding the most valuable gold and treasure belonging to Pharaoh Kufu. All you have is a kerosene lamp which is your source of light (by creating a flame) and the knowledge that the treasure is in The King's Chamber. Health: 100." The present health of the player is 100. The description of the player is "You are an experienced treasure hunter who travels around the world in search of treasure. You are in your 30s and have stubble covering you chin and neck and bags under your eyes. Your longer hair sticks out of the back and the sides of the hat you are wearing. Dirt covers your face." Pyramid Entrance is a room. "You have just walked into the Pyramid and are standing in a small room. The ground is dusty and the air is thick, making it a little difficult to breath. The walls are made out of limestone. You know that the Supplies Chamber is to the east and The Corridor is to the north." limestone is scenery. It is in Pyramid Entrance. Instead of examining limestone: say "A carbonate sedimentary rock that the pyramid is made of. There is nothing important about the limestone." Instead of taking limestone: say "I don't think you can pick up the entire pyramid." The Corridor is a room. It is north of Pyramid Entrance. "The corridor is a simple passageway that leads north to the King's Chamber and east to the Hidden Chamber. Straight north there is a large stone door that leads to the King's Chamber." Supplies Chamber is a room. It is east of Pyramid Entrance. It is south of Hidden Chamber. "You are now in the Supplies Chamber. There is dust in every crevice and corner of the room. The Hidden chamber is to the north and the pyramid entrance is to the west. There is not much but... " dust is scenery. It is in the Supplies Chamber. Instead of examining dust: say "Just your ordinary dust. Fortunately, you aren't allergic." Instead of taking dust: say "You definitely don't need dust." Hidden Chamber is a room. It is east of The Corridor. "A musty room with boxes strewn about the room. The Corridor is to the west and the Supplies Chamber is to the south." boxes is scenery. It is in Hidden Chamber. Instead of examining boxes: say "Wooden crates with nothing important inside." Instead of taking boxes: say "You don't need them." The King's Chamber is a room. "You place the three different colored gems in the three corresponding holes on the door and as you do so the massive stone door rolls to the side. As the door opens to the King's Chamber, Pharaoh Kufu rises from his coffin. He is a mummy and is angry that you are in his chamber. Kufu will do anything to protect his treasure. Because he is a mummy, Kufu is wrapped in cloth." Kerosene lamp is a thing. The player is carrying the kerosene lamp. The description of the Stone Door is "An immovable large stone door that leads to the King's Chamber where you know the treasure is located. There are three holes on the door for gems to be placed. You think that if you place the correct gems on the door the door will open. However, you must find the gems first." The Red Gem is a thing. It is in The Corridor. The description of the Red Gem is "a red gem that might be useful." The Blue Gem is a thing. It is in Supplies Chamber. The description of the Blue Gem is "a blue gem that might be useful." The Purple Gem is a thing. It is in Hidden Chamber. The description of the Purple Gem is "a purple gem that might be useful." An Old Piece of Cloth is a thing. It is in Hidden Chamber. The description of An Old Piece of Cloth is "A piece of cloth on the ground that you can tell that it is soaked in a flammable substance.
